SEATTLE -- A Seattle police officer shot a dog in West Seattle on Wednesday while dealing with a domestic incident, Seattle police said.
Police arrived at a home in the 3400 block of 44th Avenue Southwest at about 1:20 p.m. where someone had reported a woman screaming, police said. Two dogs rushed through an open front door at an officer when he arrived, police said. The officer opened fire, killed one dog and wounded the other, police said.
A woman at the home is in custody for unknown reasons and police are questioning a man in his 70s, police said.
We will update this story as more information becomes available.

Seattle Police can’t shoot pool anymore without being ridiculed on the front page of the Seattle Times the next morning. Tough city to be a Cop, when in the eyes of the Leftist City Council, you are the bad guy.
if the city wants no shot dogs then by zippity it should get no shot dogs
Why does a dog getting shot merit any interest on this forum? How petty?
It must have merited your interest since you saw fit to make a comment. How petty of you.
Will Obama speak at a memorial service???????????????????
Not exactly relevant, but recently one of my girls was very sick and figured that she couldn’t call 911 because her dogs wouldn’t let anyone near her.
Knowing how protective they are, you’d have to put them down to carry her out.
