CBS News allowed the following comment to be published on its website, following an article about Obama’s visit to Arizona yesterday:

... Who were the doctor(s) and nurse(s) at Kapi`Olani that delivered Barack? My ex-wife worked at the hospital and I understand the records at Kapi’Olani are impeccable. Where are the foot prints? What public records exist that can even demonstrate that Mrs. Obama was even at Kapi’Olani on the day of Barack’s birth? Talk at Kapi`Olani, would have been unabashed, the city of Honolulu at the time very racist towards black people.

Since the ratification of the 14th Amendment there have only been two types of citizenship, natural born and naturalized. The Terms ‘Natural Born’ and ‘Native Born’ have been used interchangably by ALL courts, including SCOTUS, for over the past century. They are synonymous legal terms and have been used as such. There is no third kind. Hopefully you will not make this same mistake again.

Since I was mentioned in in your post, I felt I should respond. I was alive when Spiro Agnew ran for VP and voted for him. Yes it was fairly common knowledge that Agnew was a dual citizen of Greece and the U.S. I had a Greek friend who was very proud of that fact, and that is why I remember it. The Nixon campaign made a major outreach to the Greek-American community based upon that fact. No one even raised his citizenship status as an issue because Agnew was born in the USA and was thus a NBC.

You selectively take the one sentence out of a post. Read the entire post, it is about BC’s and the standards for Passports. There are standards that the State Dept. publishes on what BC’s they will accept for a passport. It is the BC, not A passport which needs to be filed. You are either clueless or lying again.

I do not know the other legislators sponsoring the birther bills in the various legislatures, but if they are anything like Berman here in Texas, you will get as much accomplished in the legislatures as the birther’s accomplished in their 100 or so birther lawsuits in the courts.
