Appearing on television recently, former Hillary Clinton campaign adviser and current public relations executive Mark Penn suggested that President Obama needs a moment “similar” to the tragic terrorist attack on the Oklahoma City federal building, in order to “reconnect” with voters.
He didn’t even seem to flinch in making the comment.

Remember the last “ASSAULT weapons ban” included a bunch of stuff that wasn’t ASSAULT weapons related,
like pistol magazines over 10rd capacity.
One liberal congresswoman gets shot by a KNOWN liberal nut constituent (for not being liberal enough), and because ONE PERSON gets shot the assault weapons ban comes back?
Right. Just shut it down republicans. Shut it the hell down now. If they have another false flag op planned or another nut some liberal sheriff ignores, hoping a tragedy will occur that they can then exploit, go for it.
How about a “BAN KNOWN MENTALLY UNSTABLE AND/OR INSANE LIBERALS FROM GUNS” law? That’s what happened here.

15 were shot, six died, but you're right... only the Congress-critter counts. After all, Hasan shot 30, of whom 12 died, but they were just soldiers, and we shouldn't worry about the exceptional Islamic radical.

Apparently, Loughner was using an extended magazine, which allowed him to fire around 30-33 rounds before having to reload.
According to Libs, pretty much everything is an assault weapon.
