This is nothing but a Dim ploy, a first step to begin weakening the Republicans' resolve and determination to use their House majority to oppose Obama and to advance a more conservative agenda.

They have to know this will not sit well for them. Lets make this state of the union the lowest watched ever for starters, the following day we should have a mass email, letter telephone, fax overload in DC stating our displeasure with them and third an independent party candidate for 2012

The optics are terrible. The Rep majority won’t be visible. And the Dems will appear to be larger in numbers than they actually are. Wait until Obama says something the Dems can applaud and the Reps can’t. It will look like the entire Congress is giving him a standing ovation.
This sets the stage for what is to come and you can bet the Rats are laughing and high fiving right now.

I called McCain’s office too. Told the gal that I was not surprised that McC was more comfortable sitting with the democrats.
Call my own weasel and was told they were not permitted to state his position on the matter. She got a load of grief from me. He’s a squishy repub who voted for Cap and Trade.

If the Republicans are that dumb to fall for this game, then all is lost. The only reason the low life liberal, left-wing, Democrat Party is calling for this is so that Joe & Jane American do not visually see what a horrible beating the Democrats took at the polls on November 2, 2010. Republicans rule the House!!! Let the American voters see the change they wrought.
WAIT....I just had an idea. How about they say, “Yes, this is a good idea IF/after the Dems who DEMONIZED Palin, Rush and Tparty patriots issue a very public and sincere apology to show they are sincere and really MEAN the civility. THEN we all sit together. Aren’t politicians supposed to know how to deal for things? Why do they never put conditions on their cave-ins? Why do they act like they have to just say either yes or no on these things? They can say YES/but or YES/and to put the ball back in the other court.
