The race to replace Mayor Daley entered a new phase on Friday. You might call it, Gang up on Rahm.
They hammered him on his stint as a member of home mortgage giant Freddie Mac, which critics blame in part for the foreclosure crisis. Braun even accused Emanuel of throwing women under the bus by excluding abortion coverage from President Obamas health care reform act.
Given the opportunity to question her opponents directly, Braun jumped on Emanuel for some of the take-no-prisoners antics that earned him the nickname, Rahmbo.
Its been reported in fact Ive had a conversation at one point with the congressman to whom you sent a dead fish. And youre reported in the New York Post as telling your workers to, `Take the Tampons out and get to work, Braun said.

That's a new one.
I hope Braun wins! It would be such a blow to RE’s ego! And Chicago deserves a nitwit like Braun.
EVERY SINGLE CANDIDATE WANTS TO TURN CHICAGO INTO ILLEGAL ALIEN HEAVEN!!
It doesn't matter who wins, the people of Chicago will be the losers.

FOP to Endorse Chico
From the article cited in the post directly below this one:
* Emanuel sat on his hands, looked the other way and took the cash when presented with an Enron-style scandal at Freddie Mac, said challenger Gery Chico, who is expected to be endorsed by Chicagos Fraternal Order of Police today.
We’re going to say this is probably the best decision to be made at the moment. Rahm is saying straight up that he’s going to cut pensions for current city employees. In light of years worth of compromises and promises made to the police and fire departments to accept less money or different compensation (uniforms, duty availability, etc) in return for adjustments to pensions and the like to assist the city, any vote for Emanuel flies in the face of reasonable decision making.
