Back in 1964 when I first voted for POTUS, I was working with a gal who was born in Latvia. She and her parents were staunch Republicans. They had fled the communists following WWII. They had a German name, so I think they may have been expelled. But, they had absolutely no time for any Communists. Her father had been in the Latvian army before the war.
I believe it.
I should add to the list anyone who lived in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
All those Vietnameese that came to America, that I have met, are staunch Republicans (if not neccessarily so-cons, but they do pull the lever for “R” always)

The Russians in NY 13 made a big difference and helped us “correct the people’s mistake of 2008.” NY 13’s Mike Grimm is now the only conservative Republican in NYC.
When productive citizens start to believe what I'm about to say the hand wringing about Democrats and their ridiculous philosophy will no longer keep you up at night. And, hopefully, we'll start to understand (probably already do) the fight ahead.
Democrats are looters and parasites. The looters prey on the productive and feed the parasites. As with all parasites, there must be a host to survive. That host is the freedom loving productive citizens of these United States.
The looters are the real problem (evil) because they are the Democrats with power of law and the force of government (at the point of a gun). The parasites support the looters so they "can get theirs". The parasites could care less about the future and live "in the now" with a day to day outlook on what they can get for free.
The looters all think that when full control of the citizenry is attained, the rules will not apply to them. They will be a protected class. Little do they know they the lesser of the looters (i.e. leftists and true believers) will be the first ones up against the wall or in line for the gallows.

The Soviet emigres (a good percentage of whom are Jewish, BTW) and their descendants voted overwhelmingly for the GOP in the last presidential election. There's no reason why that should change in the future, for the reasons discussed in the article.
Republicans can score some political gains by taking a page out of the traditional 'Rat playbook: organizing and registering this potentially loyal ethnic bloc of newly arrived prospective voters.
