Affirmative Action sucks ass, however, many blacks and latinos are very skilled in their profession, and I know a lot of them.

To be hired at some Federal jobs, you get a lot of points if you are former military. Is this affirmative action for the vets? Sure, I suppose, but there are many many qualified vets too.

I disagree because the 'coloring' is based on the perception of the observer. I am an observer, for example, who views a professional strictly by the competance they demonstrate to me. I could care less about Affirmative Action or color or race.

The act of being 'colored with the result of A.A.' is a function of the person observing, and I do not happen to subscribe to it.
