Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX): Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee, a Democrat from Texas, said on Tuesday afternoon that repealing the national health care law would violate the Constitution. Arguing that the Commerce Clause provides the constitutional basis for ObamaCare, Jackson Lee said repealing the law by passing Republicans' H.R. 2 violates both the Fifth Amendment's right to due process and the Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection clause.

Funny how libs can find things that are *not* in the constitution, but argue that things plainly in the constitution aren’t there or don’t meant what they say.
I believe her cognitive processing unit has experienced an I-D-10-T error.

The most abused clause in the Constitution...the commerce clause. If you accept the dhimmirat interpretation of it, then there is NO LIMIT to what government can to the people, whenever they choose, for as long as they choose, at any cost they deem appropriate.

I would think Texans especially might feel they have a constitutional right to be represented by someone more intelligent than this buffoon. I could just see one of her constituents filing a petition in the courts that having her as a “representative” effectively meant being subjected to taxation without representation.
It’s right there in the part of the Constitution written in Swahili and invisible ink - the section only blacks and other liberals have the ability to see.
That is where it says blacks get to use their skin color to get a free ride for life and that the government has the duty to extort money from working whites and give it to blacks.
Shelia thinks she is Barbara Jordan. I had a conversation with Barbara Jordan on a flight from Austin to Houston once. Jackson-Lee is no Barbara Jordan.
