Grayson Blames Palin For Arizona Shooting (Just go away Alan)
National Journal ^ | 1/19/11 | Jessica Taylor

Posted on 01/19/2011 10:45:17 AM PST by markomalley

Former Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) places blame directly on Sarah Palin and Republicans for last week's deadly Arizona shooting in an email to supporters on Wednesday.

Grayson, a one-term Democrat who was ousted by Rep. Daniel Webster (R) by 18 points in November, is widely expected to run again in 2012. And while the note isn't an explicit appeal for money, there is a "contribute" link at the bottom of the message.

"When I opened my web browser yesterday, at yahoo.com, there was Sarah Palin, smiling at me," Grayson writes. "'Oh God,' I said to myself, 'what has she done now."

Reacting to Palin's defense of her controversial video on the Ariz. massacre and use of the phrase "blood libel," Grayson writes: "That's interesting, I thought. What else might Palin be defending? Cannibalism, maybe?

Grayson goes on to offer his own summary of Palin's appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News show: "Palin: I am so misunderstood. Hannity: I am so misunderstood. Palin: I am so misunderstood."

Grayson says not only was Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz), who was critically wounded in the shooting at her "Congress On Your Corner" event, wary of Palin's rhetoric, but that the former GOP vice presidential nominee used the same "crossfire" symbol against him.

"Even before I heard earlier Palin's whining about 'misguided finger-pointing' and 'irresponsible statements from people who are apportioning blame,' I thought about this: Palin came to my district, and told her people to 'take me out.' Palin told people again and again, 'don't retreat, reload.'"

Running down threats to him, Grayson says one of his five-year old twins "received a telephone death threat intended for me" the day before last March's health care vote.

Alan, your 15 minutes of fame were over with last November. Just go away quietly. Now.

Grayson is a truly sick man. He should go snuggle up with his butt-buddy, Keith Olbermann. They were both survivors of botched partial birth abortions. The doctors sucked out their brains but their horrible bodies survived.

Isn't a Grayson something that affects your bowel movements, negatively?

Oh, him, that's right.

Hey, can you think of ONE other ONE TERM Congressman who is quoted, breathlessly, by the State Run Media?

I guess the fact that Grayson is saner, and to the right, of most journOlists, helps his quotability.

Grayson needs to take a careful look at his own worldview.

Although Loughner’s decisions are ultimately his own and only he is accountable for them, his horrible actions can be closely linked to the influence of leftist ideology.

Progressivism widely teaches that human life has no intrinsic value. Furthermore, through liberal sentencing of convicted criminals it teaches that committing horrible crimes such as killing other people will likely bring minimal consequences. In this way, liberalism encourages the sociopath to kill.

Progressivism is founded on the absurd belief that certain people can have the authority to give and to take away the rights of other people. This principle confirms particularly to the sociopath that he is morally free to kill other people as he chooses.

Perhaps most significant is the fact that the leftist worldview is by nature incoherent, a condition resulting from the chaos of relativism.

Relativism, the bedrock of progressive ideology, asserts there is no ultimate truth, allowing leftists to engage in their common practice of asserting one thing today and then completely contradicting themselves tomorrow. (Like schizophrenics do—and it is the basis for the democrats ignoring the violence in their own rhetoric.) Take it a step further and you have insanity, then chaos and destruction.

An honest assessment of the facts tells us Loughner merely followed progressive ideology to its ultimate conclusion.

Is Alan Grayson related to defeated South Carolina Democrat Senate candidate Alvin Greene?

They sound exactly alike!

Just go away quietly.

He is not going anywhere. As long as there are liberal media outlets, there will remain a place for the likes of Grayson, Newt, and McCain to come on and bash Republicans.

Says a fool that spent four days in the Psychiatric Institute of Washington.

Grayson had to be deemed “no longer a threat to others” before he could be released from the mental hold.

There’s a better case that Alan Grayson was the shooter’s inspiration. Grayson is way more “incivil” and incendiary than Palin, and certifiably insane like the shooter.

It would be better to keep him around instead... He’s the poster-boy for how out of touch and completely ignorant a great deal of these ultra left-wingers have become.

In the past there were always intelligent liberals about, offering at least a saleable reasoning to their wrong-headed and idealistic views. Now it’s just a bunch of buffoons like Grayson and his elk in the media at MSNBC, spewing foolishness and absurdity. Everybody knows they’re whacked, and your past election proves it to be true… Keep them about and they’ll help you win another in 2012.
