ACORN whistleblower co-founds 1st black Tea Party movement in Sheila Jackson Lees back yard By: MataHarley
Yet another tea party movement forms, and this group will provide more than the usual pride in citizens, standing up against a government they demand be reined in. Why? This tea party movement is made up of those supposed non-existent black Americans. And what gives me yet another smile is that this group is formed right under the nose of Dem Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who made news in the past two days demonstrating her lack of Constitutional knowledge when she proclaimed any repeal of Ohealthcare was unConstitutional.
Grab the Orville Redenbachers, folks . this is going to be sheer entertainment.
Co-founder of the newest Texas tea party in Houston is a now familiar name, Anita Moncrief. Ms. Moncrief sprange to the forefront back in late March, 2009, when I posted about her exposé of ACORN, and the deliberate attempts by the NYTs to conceal the Obama-ACORN ties. Curt followed up with his May 18th post and additional updates. If Ms. Moncrief were a liberal Democrat, as she stated she was, during her ACORN working days, she is one no more.
As their mission statement reads, in part:
To build a strong base of conservative Black entrepreneurs, elected officials and constituents that provide Black conservatives a viable way to express and implement their conservative values politically.
Co-founder Anita Moncrief says the party is also looking to overcome stereotypes.
Were trying to break the stereotype that the tea party is racist, said Moncrief. [many links at actual website]

The Democrat party has coldly used the race issue for its own purposes and has not made good on its promises.
If this movement has any success at all, she just might replace Sarah Palin as the media’s most hated person.
I’ve heard Anita Moncreif on Sean Hannity’s show—this woman seems legit, and tells of incredible corruption that occurred with the Obama administration, and hsi fundraising efforts during his campaign.
SJL also said forgetting the hot sauce for her chicken wings
You are gross and could have gone all day without that
Moncrief better watch out for Quanell X. He crazy as a bag full of bugs.
Every time I hear the name “Moncrief”, it makes me think of “Super Sid” who played for my beloved Hogs.....
I heard her on Hannity’s radio program yesterday. I just happened to see the thread
Anita MonCrief on Hannity Radio Today to Discuss Formation of First Black Tea Party (3pm ET)
about her being a guest, so tuned in for a change. She is also a FReeper and posted on the Black Tea in Houston thread. See reply #25 on the link below.
Black Tea in Houston
I could have gone all day without that too. Thanks for saying it first.
In queen Shelia’s backyard ping. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, I heard her yesterday, too. Very well spoken person. Sean should have her as a guest on his Fox show. Not that I watch him that much, but I would to see her.
It is unfortunate that this is organized/characterized as a “black” Tea Party group. Why is segregation necessary?
comment 25 from previous posting:
“I think you are missing the point. When I worked for ACORN, they used blacks to hide their illegal activity. What we are trying to do is break that cycle. Last nights meeting was about unity. If we are true Conservatives, we care about ALL of America and want to take it back. Tea Parties are set up where people live and there is not one in 3rd ward.
The media is calling us a black Tea Party but we are simply a Tea Party set up in a urban minority area. All are welcome. We are also a party of the Texas Tea Party Federation.
I love the boldness of this woman. She's a fire starter and will probably light fires in the black community and beyond but, my guess is not the getto's. To many there are comfortable letting the government take care of them.
Our TEA party here in Franklin county, Kansas is an orange pekoe group, though if the meeting is held late at night camomile might be used. But since we are a diverse group some have been known to use the black tea, while other have tried to get green tea into the mix. Oolong is not favored as it is partially fermented and we live in the Bible belt. Berry Zinger is my favorite, but then I’m very very right wing. Being a very refined and anti violent group we all use the little metal tea strainers so that no PETA person can say that any teabags were harmed. At any rate I say; Get out the cups and saucers and let’s party, BYOT!
It’s all I can do to listen to Jeff Ward—although I love it when Suzanna Hupp sometimes subs for him.
That morning crew drives me crazy, so I quit listening to them long ago.
Although I love Lakeway, and it’s a very conservative town, being this close to Austin drives me up the wall some days.
By creating a separate "Black" Tea Party?
OK, that is better
Here is the Tea Party Version:
Here is Sheila Jacksons Version
Which one would you take to Vegas???
I usually listen to Mark, Ed and SGT Sam. SGT Sam just tears Ed a new one most days. He is such a wimp and starts his “Oh Sam, oh Sam” but Sam just nails him over and over.
I only listen to KLBJ on the way home for their traffic reports every few minutes. That has saved me a lot of time by missing traffic tie ups.
I live such a good life that I seldom have reason to drive into Austin—LOL!
I hope to have that kind of life by this time next year! Look out, here comes RETIREMENT!!
There’s only one downside to being retired that I can see—I’ve never been so busy before—LOL!
LOL! I know which one I’d take!
That is what I am afraid of too. My wife always has a honey do list for me to do on vacation and weekends. Now, I’ll have a full time honey do list.
I also have about 65 acres near Giddings that needs new fencing. That is going to be a big job. Much of the fence line is full of shrubs and cedar trees.
I wonder if Lisa Fritch and Anita are friends.
I don’t know, but we could call in to Lisa’s show on KLBJ. I think she is on every Sunday evening.
