Here’s what you need to know from Monday’s (1/24/2011)White House briefing with press secretary Robert Gibbs:

-- Gibbs hinted that President Obama will talk about gun rights in his State of the Union address....

-- Gibbs snuck a jab at the so-called birthers who don’t believe Obama was born in Hawaii. “I think rational people have long ago, many when they first heard and saw the president, come to the conclusion of his citizenship,” he said.

Lets see if I understand this: I had to have a birth certificate with an apostille seal from my birth state just to obtain a one-year work visa in Argentina. I also had to provide a copy of my high school and college diplomas, with seal, a letter of good conduct from my local sheriff, and a health certificate indicating I did not test positive for HIV.

All this for a work visa, and the turd in office does not have to even have a valid birth certificate to prove he is a US born citizen. Pretty freekin amazing.

If I can ‘look’ at him and tell he is American, then why can’t I ‘look’ at him and say he is not?

This ‘logic’ is insane.

I guess the other side of the coin is that if the usurper were actually, you know, like doing a good job? Honest truth nobody would care. I know there are purists that would argue the point but as a practical matter, the whole issue would go away if we had somebody who was actually doing good things for the country. Imagine someone who had served with valor in the US Armed Forces, who had fought bravely to defend our border, our currency, our jobs, our economy, our national security, our values? I can state that given those facts, I wouldn’t really care what the BC said. Maybe I should, but I wouldn’t.
