Taking her Let's Move! initiative on the road to Fort Jackson, S.C., Michelle Obama tied together her two favorite causes: childhood obesity and military families.
Childhood obesity is "not just a health issue for children, it's a national security issue," Obama said while visiting the Army's largest basic training facility. "You have to get the whole country behind this because it's affecting our ability to protect our freedom."
In a briefing at Fort Jackson, Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, the Army's initial training deputy commander said attracting recruits who can meet physical fitness requirements is becoming more difficult

This crap is totally out of hand and the Republican whiners are already wringing their hands over the apparent ease Barry will have getting a second term. The American people have the government they deserve and now we'll see if they can wake up enough to deserve anything any better than a second term of criminals like these two.
Well, I’m certainly concerned that AF1 might crash having to haul her fat a** all over. Does she have to pay a fee to fly with that excess baggage? Scary, when you think about it.

Why is she preaching this to military families/members? These are probably the most fitness-conscious people in the country.
The place she truly needs to hit up is the hospitals. As a nurse, I’ve seen 300-600 lb patients on restricted diets whose family members would smuggle in large bags of Mcdonalds, boxes of fried chicken, etc. to them because they just “couldn’t survive” on the 1800 cal/day hospital diets. THESE are the real offenders who are already being hospitalized for their obesity-related cormorbidities.
