Three sources close to Republican Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana tell CNN they are told he will announce he is not running for president in 2012 and will instead begin exploring a run for governor.
These sources say he has been flattered by the efforts to nudge him into the GOP presidential race but, as one of the sources put it, "he is a realist and kept coming back to questions about the fund-raising." The second source said some around Pence also have reminded him of the difficulty of mounting a presidential campaign from the House, and noted that, at age 51, he would have a better platform to explore a presidential run if he first was elected governor.

YUP. I saw that. thanks. Give him an earful and get him to run.
But she’s never given a categorical NO like DeMint just did.
... so says the brainiac who was touting Pence, the author of amnesty legislation.
“That leaves Cain, Bachmann, DemInt and Bolton”....correction, that leaves Cain, Bachmann and Bolton for you, none of which will get more than ole Duncan the magnificent did if they all run:
The same Pence who has since stated that he would no longer support any amnesty legislation or guest worker program. As opposed to the puppet still spouting McCain’s amnesty plan.
There goes our best chance of getting the Marxist/Muslim out of the White House.
I thought DeMint said he would not run:
Romney had a great run. Maybe he will again. Get your kneepads out of the closet. And brush off the Reagan lies.
He’s still contemplating it. With his buddy Pence out, I think it far more likely now. We’ll see.
Now can you get behind someone viable?
All you do is divide and squeel and disrupt for candidates that have no chance.
Pissant, the most despised poster on FR, and for good reason.
It smacks of desperation now that a seasoned political observer like you has realized Palin could become The Accidental President in 2012 simply by channeling Reagan's mantra: "Are you better off than you were four years ago?!" ...
The Electoral Math is there -- overlay the red sea of state legislative and executive seats won in 2010, flip those states (heh, first among equals Indiana -- nothing like bringing a thread full circle) accordingly and et voila I don't care if Bobo raises eleventy billion dollars, he's got an uphill climb ... it won't be that she wins, it'll be that he loses ...
Same guys: DeMint, Cain, Bachmann. Can you post some more pics of Palin please, you big Cain fan you.
At least I don’t lie. Through my teeth no less. About Reagan. In the service of the Abortionist.
Viable will be whoever the establishment approves.
That will not be a conservative. Do you get it yet?
Whoever is approved will not be a conservative, just someone who talks like one.
DeMint and Pence out? Why is that?
We're not sure if it's because you post from a loony bin, you're stupid, insane, or a Moby.
Whatever the reason, you do it all the time, you've already done it on this thread.
Pissant: the most hated poster on FR. Congrats..
Why don’t you ask me to quote Palin on amnesty or LOST or TARP again.
In the meantime, please scrape up those quotes from Reagan’s pro-abortion years. We’ll do a dual thread together.
Oh. and while you’re at it you can call me a liar again for making the “false claim” that you had stated Fred was 100% pro life.
First lie of the thread: Post 38: </I>Just like Palin lied when she said shed run if no one else would?
It's just who you are, it's why you are despised and not listened to here.
This is a huge disappointment. I like Cain- just not sure if he’s up to it. I was really hoping Pence would run.
So we have Newt, possibly Rudy, not sure about Mitt, not even sure if Sarah is going to do it, Daniels, maybe DeMint and Pawlenty.
It will be another ugly primary season.
