President Obama mourned the death on Thursday of David Kato, a gay rights activist who was murdered in Uganda:
I am deeply saddened to learn of the murder of David Kato. In Uganda, David showed tremendous courage in speaking out against hate. He was a powerful advocate for fairness and freedom. The United States mourns his murder, and we recommit ourselves to Davids work.
At home and around the world, LGBT persons continue to be subjected to unconscionable bullying, discrimination, and hate. In the weeks preceding David Katos murder in Uganda, five members of the LGBT community in Honduras were also murdered. It is essential that the Governments of Uganda and Honduras investigate these killings and hold the perpetrators accountable.

anybody HE knew?
Does he ever mourn the Christian victims of say, attacks on churches?
OMG!! This is EMBARRASSING!! He IS GAY...our President IS gay!! This guy was in UGANDA for gosh sakes!
uh....NO.
More emotion here than this POS Obummer could muster for the Ft Hood shooting. Swell.
Pep Rally Time!!
He mourns a Ugandan gay acticvist, but not a Border Patrol agent, and former Marine and Cop who was killed by Mexican cartel gunman last month?
Exactly. It is just awful.
Dear Bambi,
How about a shout-out to the world about this 19 yr old girl stoned to death by the taliban?
We wouldn’t want to think your moral outrage is...selective
Obama crapping on us again.
He never even mentioned the 6 Christian doctors gunned down in Afghanistan last fall
At home and around the world, LGBT persons continue to be subjected to unconscionable bullying, discrimination, and hate.
Oh yeah, we have this kind of crime in America all the time, too. Why, the gays in San Fran are fearful for their very lives ....
Yes, or the Christian woman missionary who was killed at the Mexican border yesterday.. Does Obama mourn her?
Suuurrrrrre..
How much in order is Uganda anyways, I would believe, unless someone said otherwise, that it’s pretty much a nation in disarray, in which gay rights would be the least of its’ problems.
The second point is, does our president even know this guy at all? If not, then he shouldn’t be so much more concerned about him as the bigger picture of how stable Uganda is, or about how many people bite the dust from reckless, lawless crossing over our borders.
>> Obama: The United States mourns his murder, and we recommit ourselves to Davids work.
What about the work of abortionist, Kermit Gosnell? Do you, Obama, mourn for those he murdered?
Nate Spencer...gay- murdered 2007.
Larry Bland....gay- member- Rev Wrights church-dead.
Donald Young....gay- member- Rev Wrights church-dead.
When, oh, when will the “Won” weep for them?
“The United States mourns his murder, and we recommit ourselves to Davids work.”
I don’t. There are more worthy people to mourn...
When asked about human rights’ abuses in China during Hu’s visit, Obama could only respond “China has a different form of government than we do”. So apparently, it’s okay for some governments to abuse its citizens for some reasons, and not for others. It would be nice if he could be pinned down on when it’s okay and when it’s not.
The value of a human life is above his paygrade. A gay political activist however is right up his back alley.
Have you heard much about Uganda lately?
It’s because Uganda is making great strides. They were a center of the AIDS African crisis, so much so that they reached out to Christians.
The Churches and Christians have been leading the battle against AIDS with prayer and unashamed Christianity. They use the ABC program - Abstain, Be Faithful, Use Condoms. The homosexuals are furious.
AIDs has dropped drastically. No other country in Africa has seen this sort of drop. This has put the country in the crosshairs of the radical left. They are fervent in trying to explain away the sudden change in people’s health by any way other than Christian cultural change.
Naturally Obama has come out about this, it is a shoutout to the radical progressives that he will not let a Christian anti-life culture stand.
But he apparently was not "deeply saddened" by the death of Judge John Roll or any of the others who died when Congresswoman Giffords was shot, at least so far as I can find by searching GoogleNews. The Governor was "deeply saddened." Loughner's parents were "deeply saddened."
But not Obama. He's "deeply saddened" by the death of some African queer.
ML/NJ
Let me guess. The Ugandans were listening to Rush Limbaugh on satellite radio or streaming his broadcasts over the internet, right? And that’s why they were provoked to do this. If they’re not saying this yet, they will be...
Pun intended?
Yes, I admit it. Busted! :-(
Speak for yourself you degenerate marxist sex pervert crook.
And now we are a black-run nation.

Did I miss his statement about the loss of all those policemen the past few days?
That was my thought also. Remember the ‘shout out’ before any mention of the massacre at Ft Hood? This guy is a real piece of work. Sickening.
Just like Taco Bill Clinton he mourns the advocates of Sodom but is silent when our own Border agents get offed by druggies and border jumpers.
and what I see suggests the vast majority of such bullying, discrimination, and hate comes from their jilted lovers or
“friends” —gay on gay violence.Obama believes in fairy tales.
No he does not- I dont even know who this person is he is talking about and I could care less anyone who is a friend of BO or who Bo looks up to is not a friend of mine.. I wonder if he mourned the death of his dog trainer who died on Jan 15th she was 52
From what I’ve heard, it was the man’s gay lover who killed him.
This is not a hate crime, but a gay-on-gay crime. Or perhaps a simple robbery-gone-wrong ...
In tonights news is a story about another American Missionary having been gunned down in Mexico - a woman at that. This was an American citizen in Mexico to help people. Will Obozo morn the murder of his woman? Doubtful!!
UGANDA CONFRONTS “LOUD-MOUTHED HOMOSEXUAL LOBBY”
http://www.newswithviews.com/Kincaid/cliff389.htm
Thank you aSeattleConservative, Mr. Kincaid sums it up pretty well.
You’re welcome. When searching on the internet for a “pro Uganda anti-homosexuality” site, you have to wade through several pages of pro sodomite sites before you find the truth.
Tis a sign of the times my FRiend.
