The barbaric Middle Eastern practice of honor killing has made an appearance on our shores. It happens when men murder members of their own family to avenge purported slights against Islam. For instance, Pakistan-born Muzzammil Hassan allegedly beat and then beheaded his wife Aasiya in Buffalo, N.Y. on Feb. 12, 2009. Six days earlier, Aasiya announced her intention to file for divorce and obtained a restraining order.
In another example, Iraq-born Faleh-Hassan Almaleki allegedly ran down his 20-year-old daughter Noor with his Jeep Cherokee near their Phoenix home on Oct. 20, 2009. Noor was killed and the mother of her boyfriend was injured. Prosecutors say Almaleki was angry at his daughter for refusing an arranged marriage.
These cases bear the signs of honor killings and the men, both Muslims, are currently on trial for murder. If the crimes had been committed in their home countries - where Shariah law forms the foundation for judicial proceedings - the defendants frequently escape serious punishment because witnesses often refuse to testify out of fear.
Texas and Wyoming want to make sure legal concepts based on the Koran dont gain a foothold in America. Proposed state constitutional amendments would ban the use of Shariah and other forms of international law from the courtroom. On Election Day in November, Oklahomans gave an overwhelming 70 percent approval to a similar amendment to the Sooner State constitution.

If we don’t alter our immigration laws and put the brakes on, there will be no way to prevent it. Our courts will side with the Islamic adherents stating it would be unfair to cause them to adhere to Western rules, when they have an alternate code to live by.
Look, I think that’s absurd, but some line of reasoning similar to this made it possible for Sharia to be incorporated at least in part, in Britain.
If we don’t want that here, then we better start making some game changers now that will prevent it.
You’re correct, that’s exactly what the muzzies will be arguing. I think it’s great some states are recognizing the problem and trying to combat it, every state should be doing the same.
I’m going to take some heat for this, but IMHO, we will rue the day we didn’t pack up every Muslim adherent and ship them off to the destination of their choice with $2 million dollars as an incentive.
The United States as we knew it growing up, will never survive the Islamic invasion. You can hold me to this.
We’re talking oil and water here, and we’ll be making all the concessions so as not to be ‘unfair’.
We, my friend, are not entitled to a culture. Everyone else is.
It's pathetic but you're correct. It seems every individual group wants their culture recognized but when it come to the culture of our country as a whole those groups cry discrimination, it ain't right.
Thanks for the note of agreement. You take care.
The supposed womens rights groups are strangely silent when the issue involves the crescent.
The women's rights groups, the civil rights groups, the ACLU and many others were never about their proclaimed causes. They were simply movements to divide America and destroy her values and freedoms.
I will never understand why freedom is such a threat to so many but two evident players are Communism and Islam. Each demands world domination and total allegiance to there ideology. The Communist have been working slowly to transform America for over 100 years and the Muslims have been on the march for at least the last 50, as far as America is concerned. They have been working together to destroy the biggest obstacle to their goals - America.
One thing unique about freedom is that many people will sell out to secure it for themselves, no matter what it does to others. The Communists (Soros, et al.) and the Muslims with their oil, have plenty. We know Soros has declared his intentions for One World Government (The pen Society Institute) and we know that the Koran teaches the stealth process to accomplish world domination, a process also used by Marx and his buds.
So, there is no doubt who the enemy is or what they are doing. We need to stop guessing, to stop taking their feints, stop fighting straw men while being stymied by political correctness. We know what to do so we must just do it. The Tea Party Movement is a good start but we must keep the heat up and the pressure on.
In an even remotely sane world, our Congress would go into a closed door session and rethink our policies with regard to Islam.
That this isn’t even on the radar speaks volumes.
The Tea Party Movement is a very good start and the proof of that lies in the fact so many are trying to discredit and destroy it. The vast majority of Dems who are in reality leftists and communists and a few so called Republicans are desperate to see it go away, we have to keep building.
