I'm not convinced any of the people on this list can beat the President, partially because of previous stumbles and partially because of the math.
Still, primaries are all about persuading your fellows to vote for your candidate, unlike the general election which is about holding your nose and voting for the idiot your fellows chose instead. So who's it going to be?

None of those. The person I want is the most qualified person available who does actively seek the job. That criteria has worked very well in selecting project leaders.

To paraphrase a small part of Patton's speech to the Third Army:
“We'll win this election, but we'll win it only by fighting and by showing the Rinos and dims that we've got more guts and solutions than they have; or ever will have. We're not going to just crush the sons-of-bitches, we're going to rip out their living ***damned guts and use them to grease the treads of our industrial manufacturing revival. We're going to destroy those lousy Liberal ****suckers by the bushel-****ing-basket. Elections are a bloody, nasty business. You've got to spill their blood, or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. Kick them in the balls.”
That is about how I feel about Rinos and dims.

I’d be willing to bet that Romney as candidate does NOT break 45% in a general election for POTUS.

hey, I can wish can't I?!
Think about it for a minute. He's hard-core when it comes to dealing with the rag heads and the UN, AND...
he has a huge mustache.
10 bucks says he likes a good whiskey and illegal cigars too. Imagine this guy dealing with the leftists in congress. There is no way to not take this guy serious when he speaks.
I only wish the GOP had the stones to get behind him. He has an absolutely impeccable conservative record. How any real conservative could not like him is beyond me.
I honestly believe he could make it if he had the support of the party.
