Let's get this straight. Yale big wigs invite young men -- buzzed by testosterone -- to experience and celebrate the outer edges of male sexual prurience. They invite them to ogle female fellow students in garters and leather bustiers as they slink down the catwalk in the university dining hall.
But when the guys take the invitation seriously, an outraged chorus denounces them for "demeaning" and "hateful speech."

The problems the DKE pledges presented to the politically correct left-wing are: 1) they are men, 2) they decided on their own to speak and act, 3) their words and actions reflected heterosexual sex and 4) they projected male dominance.
Of course, they did this to project their own machismo, which is encouraged by the left-wing; however, it is not encouraged to build up the traditional male stature, but to have something to attack them with, as they did in this situation.
If they were women, or they were part of a school-sponsored program, or their demonstration was about any sort of non-heterosexual sex or they protrayed themselves as weak or effeminate, they would have simply been another campus celebration.
The entertainment and marketing industry have swung into overdrive the past few years in evoking this kind of behavior by producing trash just shy of pornography (which makes pornography appear normal and acceptable) and always presenting men in a degrading fashion as worthless, spineless morons, thereby rationalizing any idiotic thing men do, since, well, they’re idiots according to hollywood.
Conservatives should, of course, always teach their sons to be gentlemen, which renders this tactic and many others useless.
