They don't appear to have any friends in the Western hemisphere either.

I don’t think Egypt is really Israel’s friend.

Is it coincidence that this all happened on Obama’s watch? I don’t believe so and further more, it wouldn’t surprise many of us if it comes out that he has been pursuing his anti-Israel policies while “seemingly desiring peace”...

Don’t forget that in The Revelation of John, in the end, Israel is without friends. Things be happening.

Israel never had any friends she could count on, which is a damn shame.

It’s become so evil I would not be surprised if I flew over to Israel to help her defend herself.

This world has gone completely batsh!t.

What would Israel do without Mubarak and Obama on their side?

Not the important question.

The important one is how many and what type of enemies will Israel have when Cairo falls?

Well, correct me if I’m mistaken on these, Egypt is primarily Sunni, so is Hamas, Hezbolah, Muslim brotherhood, and Syria. Iran is primarily Shiite, so is Jordan, Lebanon, Fatah, and majority Iraq.

How many of them will be Israel’s enemy? My guess...all of them...if the the conditions permit them to get away with it. Another important thing to think about, Israel’s borders with enemies. They will become three, one smaller one and two very long ones. Things do not bode well for our dear friend, Israel. Or us.

They are not friends. They are countries who both have a strong interest in avoiding an Israeli-Egyptian war. So perhaps “strategic partners” would be a better term.

You're correct. When the $4 Billion a year stops, we'll all see that. What a horrible time to have PRES__ENT 0bama in charge.

Israel currently stands alone, without any allies. The United States is no longer an ally of Israel. This has Biblical implications.

No problem. When I think of Israel, I'm reminded of a great on camera interview conducted during Desert Storm. It was during Thanksgiving. The correspondent was interviewing a squad of young U.S. Marines on the front line, and desperately stretching to spin the story against U.S. involvement in the ME
Correspondent: "Tell me, young man. How does it feel to know your Commander in Chief has placed you and your squad in harms way at this time of year; facing an entire Iraqi armor division; outnumbered 100s to one?"

Young Marine: (eyes widening) "100 to 1!?" (The thought of it has him jumping up and down with excitement. His helmet bouncing around on his head.) "SIR! THEY DON'T STAND A CHANCE, SIR!"

Correspondent: (Drops his microphone, and mutters) "That's it. I give up."

In 1973 they could count on Nixon, described by then Prime Minister Golda Meir as "my President". I remember working in a warehouse on a part time job while in college when the news came over the radio that Nixon had raised DefCon as a warning to the Soviets to keep their noses (and troops) the f*** out.

Later on, in the early 80's, when I was in Amman I met a Palestinian who had served in the Egyptian Army in the Suez. He said the Egyptian troops could see US cargo planes in the distance flying into Israeli airfields just behind the lines dropping off supplies, one after the other in what seemed to be an endless stream of planes.

But now? GW Bush may have been the last unless we elect someone like Palin.

Really. Egypt was a friend? A better description would be non-belligerent.

If you want to hear probably the only true voice on the real enemy behind what is happening in Egypt and it's potential disastrous outcome for us and the world - listen to our new Congressman, Lt. Col Allen WEst on Huckabee coming up on Fox at 8 tonight.
West knows who the real enemy is - and he does NOT mince words. PC be damned.
We need to keep this man's back.

I cannot wait until 2012. If this a$$hole tries to suppress our voting in anyway, we'll be the “Egypt” covered around the world.

Obama sat in an anti-semetic and pro Pali church for over 20 years. This is going his way.

The intelligence services of Israel and Jordan have back-channel lines open and during the Bush admin years there was some interaction there—some of it fairly significant.

I don’t know what goes on nowadays.

The Saudis have also cooperated with Israel from time to time on various matters. None of these nations want any of this stuff made public, though. It’s a domestic political no-no for all of them.
