And just what’s wrong with Pratt and Whitney or GE?
They don’t hold Rolls Royce patents.
“And just whats wrong with Pratt and Whitney or GE?”
Gas guzzling Pratts tend to fall appart on the ground and the GEs are french designed (SNECMA) german built (MTU) US assembled (GE). But i personally think this is still the better option then the RB211 based rollers (RB211 + Trent-800/900/1000) that blow up in the air frequently.
This leaves which engines as the only and ultimate option ?!?!
