Note that as a word, in and of itself, otpor means "resistance." A fist almost identical to the one shown in your photographs in (2) holds aloft a stylized AK-47 on Hezbollah's yellow, green, and red flag. Hezbollah, meanwhile, titles itself am-Muqawama al-Islamiyya, that is, "the Islamic Resistance." Seems to me, therefore, that the possibility of an Otpor-Hezbollah-Egypt connection is worth investigating, too.
