Jon Stewart’s Only Explanation For Sarah Palin’s ‘WTF’ Moment? She’s A Russian Spy!
Mediaite ^ | 1/31/11 | Jon Stewart

Monday nights of The Daily Show often serve as a recap of stories that broke later in the previous week, that sometimes have a “clearinghouse” effect that makes the episode feel less newsworthy. Occasionally however, there are great news moments — combined with very clever and insightful writing — that create comedy magic. Like tonight, when Jon Stewart took Sarah Palin’s “WTF” assessment of Obama’s State of the Union speech and came up with the only logical conclusion: Sarah Palin is a Russian Agent!

With the left's propensity for projection, we may finally know where Duh Won's real allegiances lie.

Sarah is a Russian spy? The whole democrat party is a marionette for the Russian foreign service.

After setting up the fallacies of her analysis, Stewart asked “Who would purposefully twist around historic facts and put out such a willful misunderstanding of the president’s words. I mean you’d you almost have to be actually be a Russian agent.” Stewart then took the absurd suggest to hilarious heights, adding “Don’t you see? She is a Russian agent! Most comfortable in long, northern winters. Her favorite color is…red! What is the mascot of Russia? A bear! You are totally a super-hot Russian spy!”

This hackneyed day old news joke might be funny if I was still stoned in my dorm room decades ago, but now? Not so much. First you have to agree that Palin was off base criticizing Obummer. She was right. I really don't see Jon Lebowitz as funny. This skit included.

I appreciate humor when it’s good but this is typical leftest junk. I wonder how many degrading jokes Jon Stewart has done on Sarah Palin compared to Obama.

About the only funniest thing was when Jon said that HE understood what the president meant.

The root of the problem is that for years now stupid young people have been watching other stupid people present the news on television, and they get to thinking that they can do so too.

The young stupid people attend higher education to excel in ignorance in order to position themselves for those jobs.

Once on the job their attitude is like dumb ass Dan Rather fretting for an hour if his collar should be up or down instead caring about the substance on what they are to report.

When you think it can't possibly get any worse then this Freak Show environment, it actually does get worse.

Now we got a comedian on the Comedy Channel referred by the NYT as “the Ed Murrow of our time.”

The only thing missing from this Freak Show of the Left is the clown makeup.

Stewart probably takes his statement as literal truth. If we’re going to have the FCC, can’t they do something useful and remove this clown from the airwaves?

I don’t mind humor that smacks conservatives but that was incredibly lame. That moron thinks there was some big difference between the “space race” and the “arms race?” The rest would work in a third grade lunch room I guess.

You guys are giving Palin way too much credit. A 4th grader could have come up with a better, more coherent response than what Palin gave. She’s been Quayled beyond repair.

I thought this was about Jon Stewart’s so-called humor? To be funny it needed to be more clever than what Sarah Palin said and it missed that mark by miles.

Jon has been soooo hot for Sarah for sooo long his sexual frustrations and obvious inadequacies in that department floods his cranium with wasted toxic fluids causing him to babble more than usual.

You're now inferring that you know what you're saying. LOL

Now there's a joke.

I have never once laughed at Stewart and Colbert jokes. I understand the kind of humor but I don’t find it funny.
