“I heard that Pres__ent Obama called Mubarak yesterday. He told him to step down and not to run for re-election. Obama responded by telling Mubarak to mind his own business.”
Now that’s funny.

I told my sister right after Obama made his Egypt speech today that Krauthammers assessment was right with one exception, or should I say omission. Obamas targeted audience was not only overseas, it was for his domestic audience as well. It was a look at me and how presidential I am speech. It was a Im so powerful I can tell Mubarek what to do speech, I can change the course of politics in Egypt speech (for the worse), a vote for me because I have such wise gravitas speech, a completely egotistical speech as is his wont. What a narcissist.
After a long day of watching ESPN, he probably thought this was a chance to impose himself upon the news of the day. He probably thought he should do at least one thing each day that has something to do with the presidency.

Lots of fancy tapdancing here by the Hammer, who seems to have trouble coming right out with a simple "I was wrong about the S.O.B. from the git-go."
As for mordred, "studied ambiguity" is his middle name. Along with "Hussein," "Barry," "Steve," "Junior," and who-knows-what-all.

My hope is that some adult has disconnected nobama’s phone so he just thinks he's talking to various world leaders. Just like a petulant child, nobama must be humored until he leaves or he is frogmarched to Leavenworth, dragged out in handcuffs.

" 'There was a lot of studied ambiguity in that (speech)', Krauthammer said."
There was a lot of "studied ambiguity" in what you said, also, Charles.
Just like his network peer, Bill O'Bama, who has been functionally incapable for two years of spitting out the words "Obama is a socialist", Charles finds it difficult to spit out the simple words "Obama is a Muslim sympathizer."
Instead of his windy analysis, why couldn't Charles tell us in non-academic style the answer to the question we peasants all knew already, i.e........"Obama went on TV immediately to seize the credit for Mubarak's promise to step down.....and also to insert a few subtle words of encouragement to the Muslim Brotherhood radicals both in Egypt and worldwide to keep up the good work."
There, Charles, I said it for you.
