Yay!!! I just posted that on my FB!
The staffer was merely an unwanted lump of tissue.
yup. she was only guilty of being caught.
I wish I could say “unbelievable” but sadly it’s all too believable.
Probably rehired in another location, moving expenses paid. They don’t really fire someone for properly implementing company policy.
Here's Phyllis Kinsler:
“Staffer or manager? Hmmm... They are trying to minize her role!
Here’s Phyllis Kinsler”
I’m not sure whether you’re trying to imply that Kinsler was the one fired. She’s executive director of the local PP affiliate, whereas the news story refers to the fired employee as “Perth Amboy center clinic manager Amy Woodruff”
So, yeah, the headline says “staffer” but the story lists Woodruff as the clinic manager (indeed Woodruff herself states this in the video). So I don’t think they’re trying to cover up Woodruff’s actual role in PP. What they’re trying to cover up is how common this behavior likely is at PP clinics across the country. I seriously doubt the videographers visited 100 clinics and only aired a single rogue instance in which the PP staffer/manager was complicit in facilitating under-age sex.
No, Kinsler is the regional boss for PP. Close to Corzine, it appears.

The newspaper said she was executive director of the local PP affiliate. The news story where that photo appeared lists her formally as “President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey.” http://www.plannedparenthoodnj.org/news/articles/20090320_kinsleraward
My impression is that each local PP is “affiliated” with a regional PP organization, in this case PP of Central NJ. So “executive director” and “regional boss” are equivalent in my book, but I concur “regional boss” probably more accurately conveys her level in the PP hierarchy.
As for being close to Corzine, the lady got an award and Corzine delivered it. That doesn’t make them best buddies. For example, there’s pictures of Coach K being feted by Barack Obama at the WH after last year’s NCAA title victory. That doesn’t make them close in any way: Coach K for years has been known as a Republican. I’m betting that during his tenure in office, Corzine gave out hundreds of these kinds of awards: it doesn’t mean he hand-selected the recipients or even saw them ever again after the photo shoot.
