Interesting. We can all speculate about why he won’t support her. Maybe he knows he isn’t popular and wants to remove as much as possible any connection between them to give her a chance?

"I think Im staying out of this for the first time in many years,"Just damn. A shame that McQueeg didn't say this about running for the Senate again.

I think Jorge Arbusto also recently announced he’s staying out of politics.
Glad to hear both of these millstones around our necks will be taking a backseat.
I’d rather they disappear altogether.

Obviously, he’s content with 0bama being re-elected, as he was content with 0bama being elected in ‘08.

It was a bitter day when McCain beat out JD Hayworth, but after making calls in JDs campaign office I knew as long as the senior citizens of AZ are still alive and voting, that is a lost cause. McCain should have been out back with the Keating 5, but he slid out of the noose then...

Translation: I'm running with Barry as his VP in 2012. There, fixed it.

Her loyalty to him, although admirable, was sorely misplaced The same drama has probably happened ten thousand times in human history. If Palin hadn't been loyal, I and many others would have lost some regard for her as Palin surely would have lost regard for herself. Pretty hard to live with oneself knowing one had betrayed loyalty and honor for self-advancement.
Yet knowing that being loyal could end up with harmful, disastrous consequences, a gamble on politics (McCain might not have been re-elected) and risking the wrath of critics.
I don't know what I'd have done in her shoes.
But I can imagine she might be breathing a sad sigh of thanks that McCain isn't going to back her.

You can bet that by November 2012, McCain will have spoken up on behalf of a candidate. He cant help himself. Hell have some half-baked reason how it is not a flip-flop from what he said in January 2011. McCain cant be trusted. Excellent wise words.

Sorry, I don’t mean to jump on you, SotC! No, it’s just that ... iiiicccck. McCain sure maintains a low “personal space” zone. That’s scary.
