The DNC spent a helluva lot more on Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 (adjusted for inflation) than the RNC did for Sarah Palin in 2008.
And the DNC spent more on Algore's "earthtones" in 2000 than the RNC spent on McCain in 2008.
The very definition of a "non-issue".
I heard that Haley Barbour was working on a deal to secure the RNC for him and that the new head of the RNC was simply a figurehead for Haley’s campaign. It would make sens ethen that the Barbour campaign would work to get the number 2 man out of office with a “scandal” like this or if this # 2 man is Haley's it would make sense for say Mitt to get him out. This is inside the beltway politics jockeying for position within the RNC by someone’s camps. Nothing more and nothing less using Palin to distract from their naked power grab.
RE: haters got to hate.
Mind reading again. Hate is such a strong word.
If someone is expressing his/her concern or simply presenting an article, how is that “hate”?
Is there a rule in this forum that tells us we only have to report flattering news about our favored candidates?
John McCain’s people certainly thought so. Maybe Cindy thought Sarah and the kids would show up in flannels and cargo pants, without their guidance.
What a waste of $$$ for everyone you mentioned!
