The problem in Texas may wells have been exacerbated by the dependence on wind energy. On February 28, 2008 rolling blackouts in Texas similar to what they are currently experiencing were narrowly averted when a weather front idled most of the state’s wind turbines. The current cold has outstripped the state’s generating capacity and my bet is the wind turbines were largely idle as the cold conditions often do not produce high winds.
Thanks. Makes sense. No one to blame really but maybe Bush because it is his home state. These things happen so together we will thrive.
Put T Boone Pickens in one of them their wind turbines. Another General Electric scam.
