Verizon would truly hit a home run, if they would freely offer a way to "root" their operating systems to ditch the Corporate Choices.... I don't know about Droids or BlackBerries, but I know at least with iPhones, it isn't up to the carrier but the manufacturer. I do think that Verizon didn't add in the rooting 'kill switch' to the Droids that other carriers had.
