I’ve heard from a reliable FReeper that this is just one of several such recent very similar sightings. Thus the venue has nothing to do with the event

Yes, that’s why I put Islamic “holy place” in air quotes.

Well, then, isn't the Dome of the Rock precisely the place where you would expect such an appearance to occur? I don't see how this is setting up the Jews to blame for something bad happening there; they're kind of already pre-setup, if you see what I mean.

True, true. It just seemed to me *if* something “terrorist” related happened- would Islamofascists blow up one of their own holy mosques to blame Jews worldwide in order to egg on a blood frenzy? I think yes, nothing would surprise me—I just wonder if the mainstream media has started to turn against Israel openly by using this kind of ‘subtle’ (but not so subtly) phrasing.

And if it’s a God thing, well, He’s probably not happy that one of HIS High Holy Places has been occupied by a cult all these centuries, and He’s described how He’ll ‘clean up the place’ when the time comes...has the time come? Jesus said to watch for the signs, and put two and two together...

Elohim is Hebrew for God.
YHWH is Hebrew for Lord.
Unfortunately, in English they are used interchangeably, but they aren’t.

Yahuweh is NOT Hebrew for lord - Yahuweh is the name God/the Creator=Elohim said we are to address Him by.
His directive is very specific in this matter.
ALL editions of Yahuweh’s scriptures that use the term “Lord” in place of His correct name (7000 times) are doing the very action He warned us NOT to do.

The term “Lord” is Baal's moniker- the history of this distortion is very well recorded.

This fact will be the undoing of Paul's religion as it is in opposition to what Yahuweh has stated in His Scriptures.
If you want to explore this matter I suggest going to YadaYahuweh.com and partake of the translation efforts at corrections to Scriptures that have been provided.

"Tourist shoots glowing object hovering over Dome of the Rock."

Did he use a handgun, or an RPG?

Did it shoot back?

From your referenced site:

"I find this telling because we should expect the Magog war to begin in 2027 and go nuclear in late 2028 putting the spring 2029 arrival of Apinthos/Apophis right on schedule."

More "Christians are all wrong" date-setting losers.

Yes, it is:

‘elohiym
el-o-heem’
plural of ‘’elowahh’ (433); gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:—angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

I’ve only ever heard the name “Jehovah” when talking about Jewish religion

Judaism does not recognize "Jehovah" as a Hebrew word. It is made up. It comes from misreading the Hebrew text of the Bible.

Some Christians read the four letter holy name of G-d and saw the vowel points inserted by the Masorete scribes, and thought it was the manner of pronunciation ("yehovah").

However, as any Jew of the day could have told them, the vowel points (which are not a part of the original text) were inserted as a read/write rule. When you see such scribal notes, you read one thing, but SAY something else. This is useful for reading delecate text in public/mixed settings. The reason the rule was applied to the four letter tetragrammaton is because the pronunciation was lost during the Second Temple period. The vowel points that were inserted were for the Hebrew word for "L-rd" (Ad-nai). So when the four letters are read, the word "L-rd" is said. Most English translations follow the same rule.

So, no, the four letters (a yod, a hey, a vav, and a hey) are not pronounced "Yehovah" or "Jehovah" or "Yahweh." There are over 20 different possibilities of what the four letters could sound like, but not those.

There are several videos of the alleged “Dome of the Rock UFO” posted on YouTube. However, the video which purports to show a close-up of the glowing orb over the Dome of the Rock is almost certainly a fake. The background to the video is exactly the same as an image posted on the Internet. Google “Jerusalem nights 7088” and compare the image side-by-side with the purported video.

Allowing for the fact that the brightness of the image has been increased in the video, and thus some aspects appear more “illuminated,” they are precisely the same. E.g., the glare around the distant lights should change as the video lens pans the scene, but it remains static - and identical to that on the photograph.

Also, if you compare the angles of the buildings in the “Jerusalem nights 7088” photograph with the video, it is evident that they were taken from precisely the same location, once again indicating that the images are one and the same. I lived for years in the Jerusalem area and it looks like the image may have been taken from the King David Hotel, just outside the Old City walls.

Finally, analysis of the video has shown that the image of the Old City is pixelated, indicating that the “video” is actually taken of a digitalized image rather than of the actual Old City.

This is not intended to discount all such paranormal activity, but rather to illustrate that one must not uncritically accept every claimed UFO sighting, especially in the age of Photoshop.

Your Hebrew is not good.

A yod, a hey, a vav, and a hey do not spell "L-rd" in Hebrew. The Hebrew word for "L-rd" is spelled alef-resh-dalet-vav-nun. Go to Psalms 110:2 and see. The four letters are first used, then "alef-resh-dalet-vav-nun-yod" - with the last yod being the personal possesive "my L-rd."

It can be plural or singular. It is the root of the later title for God used in Canaan, El, and is used in names like Israel Michael and so on. Many Christians think of Elohim as the Trinity, but it is much more than that when used as a plural. It includes the plural "sons of God," not to be confused with the "Son of God." You might look up the Divine Counsel while looking up Elohim.
