ElBaradei: Israel has peace agreement with Mubarak, not with Egypt
Rational Public Radio ^ | 2/7/11 | Scott Connery

Posted on 02/07/2011 9:40:38 PM PST by Scottmkiv

"One of the reasons that the revolt in Egypt is so important is what their new government's foreign policy will be.

The Middle East is tumultuous at the best of times, but Egypt hasn't been a part of the fighting since 1973 with the exception of a brief skirmish with Libya in 1977.

Now, it looks like Mubarak's regime will fall. Mubarak is 83 years old, and the current riots make it seem unlikely that he will hold onto power until Egypt's election this fall."

ElBaradei: Israel has peace agreement with Mubarak, not with Egypt>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Mubarak has a disagreement with the Obama, not the USA.

ElBaradei works for Mubarak, not Egypt.

I like where this is going!!!

Interesting what people think about democracy , when they know nothing about it now, and have never wanted to know anything about it in the past, and in the future will not want to know anything about it.El Baradei is such a person.

Following this “logic” the START treaty was signed with 0bambi.,...soon as he’s gone it’s void.....works for me.

His liberal Western supporters will have a hard time ignoring his official anti-Israel coming-out.

And those liberal Western supporters? They are on which side?

El Baradei is a snake.

The only question at this point is, how competent a snake? Is he El Lenin or only El Kerensky?

Either way, the Brotherhood wins, and Egypt is lost.

Best outcome at this point: Omar takes over next September, and the lid stays on for a few more years.

The Israelis should understand that it is in their long-term interest to have a democratic Egypt as a neighbor, and that it is prudent to acknowledge the legitimate interests of the Palestinians and to grant them their own state.

He's not talking about war with Israel but the blackmail of Israel.

"He’s not calling for war with Israel."

Even if he intends war, would you expect him to tell Der Spiegel what his plans are.

Moreover, every statement regarding what the Palestinians want should begin by admitting that they were offered their own state...and turned it down!

The Palestinians have one goal in mind: The destruction of Israel and all its Jews. So long as other Arab leaders encourage such insane and malignant behavior, the Palestinians will never be "good neighbors".

Color me somewhat fascinated with ElBaradei’s comments, because things have a funny way of turning around. My book says Mubarak outlives him.

Has anyone else noticed that ElBaradei sort of rhymes with Hell, Ferrot, die?

Heh heh heh...

The peace agreement was with Sadat, not Mubarak, bonehead. Guess this is just another Carter “legacy” that never really had any meaning.

The real point here though is that the UN and the IAEA are terrorist organizations that are used to cover for tyranical nation-states and organizations.

El-Baradei may appear to be a “moderate Muslim” but he was just playing cover with the UN’s backing for Ahmedinejad (actually, the Ayatollah who is using Ahmedinejad as a figurehead) to build a nuke to attack Israel.

The real story here is how did such a guy get so much power at the UN and the IAEA.

But, but ElBaradei is so moderate. So reasonable and rational. LOL!!

Finally the liar shows his true stripes.

I don’t mean this offensively, but that’s a very naive point of view.

I think this idiot should actually have said Sadat. He signed the peace treaty with the Israelis.

Since he’s declaring war on Israel if he should take control, Israel might as well go after em now, while the gittin’s good.

ElBaradei echoed this sentiment saying, “At the moment, they (the Israelis) have a peace treaty with Mubarak, but not one with the Egyptian people.”

Proof that any treaty with an islamic is nothing but a hudna.

It’s just pause so they can that gives them time to regroup and collect more weapons before they try to kill you again .

Whatever they tell you is a lie so they can get their way until they get a chance to destroy you some more .

I think Mubarak is toying with El Baradei.

I think Honsni should just have him shot, along with the rest of the UN tangos and the leadership of the MB.

Problem solved. El Baradei seems to think he can conquer Egypt without force majeur.Mubarak is likely taking names, addresses, talking to them all like a Mafia Don would. Then he will chose between the quick and the dead, those who will preserve Egypt, and her international realtions as they exist now, and those who are useless to that continuity.

There likely will be a whole series of disappearances before election day, in my estimation. Can’t say as I blame him much.Mubarak is a war hero, cares about the people of Egypt. El Baradei has proven he cares about power, and the theocratization if the Egyptian government.I’d say there is a bullet lurking somewhere wih his name on it.If El Baradei had a clue left, he would be high tailing it to Iran, and staying there.El Baradei likely has the Mossad, the Saudi Itelligence Sevice, and several European spy agencies preparing to do the dirty on him. This is a high stakes game, with control of the Suez canal as the prize.El Baradei is in way over his head.

They are. Their battles are interior line and they quite literally have to be.

It doesn’t look good for them if the MB is granted any power. Obama should support Mubarak until elections are held.

The ideal model is Chile. If Egypt were to move away from socialism it would bloom better than Israel.

The Palestinians have their own state. It’s a wreck, despite billions poured in. Is the reason it is a disfunctional mess because they’re a few square miles short of “all the land”?
