Glenn Beck, Bill Kristol, and the Unholy Alliance of Radical Islam and the American Left
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | February 8, 2010 | David Horowitz

Posted on 02/08/2011 9:46:48 AM PST by HorowitzianConservative

Bill Kristol is entitled to his optimism about democratic revolutions in the Islamic world. Perhaps the elections in Egypt will turn out better than those in Gaza where Hamas now rules a terrorist state; Iraq, which has instituted an Islamic Republic; Lebanon, where Hezbollah now rules a terrorist state; and Afghanistan, which is a kleptocracy wooing the terrorist theocracy in Iran. What he should not be doing as a conservative leader is demonizing Glenn Beck, who has done more to educate Americans about the unholy alliance between the secular left and the Islamic jihadists than anyone else. Kristol needs to  apologize to Beck for comparing him -- outrageously -- to the conspiracist Robert Welch, and should be embarrassed by his own ignorance of the agendas of both American radicals and their jihadist allies. At this point in time, such ignorance is not only inexcusable but dangerous.

Here are some sources for Kristol to consult:

David Horowitz, Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left, 2004

Andrew McCarthy, The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America, 2010

"Radical Islam's Alliance with the Socialist Left" a section of DiscovertheNetworks.org

Sounds like your problem with Beck is more his lack of footnoting.

Personally, I think more information vetted by as wide an audience as possible is always good.

[ Pure democracy is the road to chaos! Democracy only works with-in a framework of strict limits.! ]

America is NOT a democracy.. because of the electoral college.. pure or partial..
The States and local politics may be... but not the federal government..

I had to laugh last night when Beck was Talking about how lil’ Billy Kristol was clueless, and the next commercial was for the Weekly Standard, LOL.

Beck is very much a globalist. He wants us to lead a world and empire which will intervene in every nook and cranny of the planet when the mood strikes him. The anti-globalist solution for the Middle East is to get the hell out, cut off aid to all sides, including the sadistic torturer Mubarak. Beck (at least when he is coherent on taking a clear stand) rejects the anti-globablist view on that issu.

All you need to know about Beck is that he is attacked personally by his enemies - his theories and facts are always left unchallenged. Unfortunately, there is a segment of American society that is dedicated to the idea that all religions are equal and that Islam is just another one of these, hijacked by a lunatic fringe. Some of them are even Republicans.

That’s not even the half of it. I watch an interview with a RETIRED FBI guy, supposedly involved in investigations of MB. If his attitude is representative of the thinking in the FBI.....WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

He praised the MB “social” programs. Even said he respected some of their leaders in U.S.
I wonder if he would express the same warm and fuzzies for Militia Orgs?/s

This may be the problem in U.S., the FBI doesn’t see the MB as a problem.

Beck misses the key issue. Mubarak quashed all secular opposition (and tortured many of them in horribly sadisitic ways) but DID NOT similarly crack down on the Brotherhood. The end result was to empower the Brotherhood as the only well-organized opposition force. NONE of this would have been possible had we stayed out of the region by, for example, propping up our “friend” Mubarak. The solution now is to give more money to a confirmed welfare bum and eveil torturer but cut off aid to all sides. Again, Beck misses this.

So your theory is that Beck should shut up until the MB in U.S. starts demanding shriah law. (they have already started the process)

No way. people sat around and laughed at those crazy Commie/Marxist/Socialist/Progressive. Now we are in a fight for the Constitution.

Beck is the only one with the GUTS to stand up and tell the truth.

Beck has been a conduit of the people on the domestic side, I was one of his first cheerleaders when people didn’t watch him at all. But he is scr@wing up big-time on this. Somebody needs to tell him about loose-lips and to stop screaming fire in the theatre. Geez Lousie...

I am eternally grateful there are finally alternative sources for information that aren't left wing reactionary.

Some folks will b*tch about anything.

How does one “know” anything about Beck. One day he is for TARP, for example, one day he is against it. One day is an apologist for the Iraq War, the next day he isn’t. One day he seems to be for the right to build the Manhattan mosque and the next he seems to be against it. He is a master at implying positions but not stating them.

On this issue, he has spent virtually all of his time pointing out the evils of the MB and NONE of his time stressing the significant fact that Mubarak empowered the MB as the only effective opposition by tolerating them on the one hand and brutally suppressing secularist opposition on the other. This empowerment of the MB, however, would NOT have been possible without our aid to Mubarak. Instead of focusing on this, Beck leaves the impression is the Mubarak deserves support because he is the “alternative” to the MB. Of course, Beck only leaves an impression, as is his typical style.

“Did anyone offer an explanation for the involvement of various leftist entities such as Code Pink, Bill Ayers, George Soros, GOOGLE (for crying out loud), etc. in the recent Egyptian unrest?”

Michael Savage did here: http://www.michaelsavage.wnd.com/files/filesSavage/Savage-ObamaGivingMiddleEastToIslamistRadicals-Rev03.pdf

I sum it up as a lynch mob inspired and steered by killer Muslims, Iran’s tyrants and the International Communists.

. Beck is the only one with the GUTS to stand up and tell the truth.

If he truly had "GUTS" he'd stress that Mubarak empowered the MB by tolerating it even while he brutally suppressed through torture secularist opposition. IF Beck truly had "GUTS' he'd note that none of this empowerment could have occured had we not given massive aid to Mubarak. Beck is a fear monger and warmonger who only tells part of the story. If he wanted to do something constructive, he'd call for ending the policy that started this mess: U.S. efforts to play favorites in the Middle East in the last few decades.

“and if Sarah Palin is elected his head will explode.”

I think you need to revisit Kristol’s stance on Palin.

Funny, I’ve never heard Kristol say a kind thing about Palin in any context. Very much like Krauthammer. From the elitist republican class, if you aren’t part of the establishment, he’s not worthy...

I’ve listened to him for years. Few talk show hosts are more driven by ratings than he is or more clever in finding ways to pump them up.

"Funny, I’ve never heard Kristol say a kind thing about Palin in any context. ..."

I have. Actually for years I didn't get a good feeling about Kristol (nauseating)..he came across like an elitist jerk/snob type. But he amazed me in the last few years with a softer style that started when he was one of the few on FOX who never failed to endorse and/or say positive things about Palin. I've rather taken a liking to him..as well as Beck.

Obviously you don’t watch Beck his focus is on the U.S.

Mubarak knows where ALL the U.S. skeletons are buried.
ANY PREZ that tries to force him to do anything he doesn’t want to do, will be the target of selective leaks.
Why do you think Zero is backing off.

The Only ones in the U.S. that “started” this mess are the Zero agents Ayers, Dorn, Hoyers, Moran and Code pink that have been active in Egypt for the past year. Even using Egypt as a staging ground for thier attacks on Israel.

Becks interest in Egypt is secondary to the ties between the Marxist/Fascist Islamist and the American Left.

Do you think Beck is going to turn on Israel, like YOU want, I think you will be disappointed.
Your apparent willingness to sacrifice Israel for some Mulin Theocracy with Shariah Law is...well...interesting.
