Legislation to ban large-capacity gun magazines like the one used in the Jan. 8 mass shooting in Tucson has been introduced in the Arizona Legislature.
The bill was introduced late Monday by Rep. Steve Farley of Tucson and 19 other Democratic lawmakers.
The legislation would generally ban magazines with more than 10 rounds. Authorities have said the Tucson shooter opened fire with a magazine that had more than 30 rounds in it before he was subdued.

Why waste newsprint and trees when you can get the magazine electronically? /Emily Latella>
Cheers!
Nobody should own a magazine that they are physically unable to lift. Dragging one around through the dirt will ruin them.
Ban 30’s? Hell, I can fit three 16’s in my butt pocket easier. Liberalism is a mental illness.
ditto
I’m all for it. Just remember the result of the assault weapons ban. (hint...it was the 1994 congress) All those union members that like their rifles, shotguns, and pistols will turn on those commies again in record numbers resulting in a Republican majority of epic proportions in both the house and senate. Bukkake Hussein Osama is such a freaking idiot he’ll push this through even knowing the NRA is gonna shove this right back up his *** next election.
DEMonstrates how really stupid the proponents are.
They cannot reason through to the obvious consequences.
Why don’t they just ban Murder instead?
Presented by the wusses who want to make us like CA.
Unions, Arizona? No connection of the dots. Too much conservative representation for this to go anywhere but the trash heap.
[Why dont they just ban Murder instead?]
Why didn’t I think of that. Why didn’t God think of that when Cain took his brother out. Oh, the humanity!
Somebody’s gonna take your new idea and make a law out of it and the world will be safe!
You are brilliant my FRiend.
If it's such a good idea, let our public servants prove it by applying the same limitation to all firearms carried by police.
Carry a magazine with more than 10 rounds, lose your cop job, public health insurance and retirement benefits, and go to jail.
I just saw a whole box of 33 round Korean Mags guaranteed for Glock 17, 19, 26, etc.....half off of 49.95.....wonder how they function.... I have several Glock manufactured ones that are in the $30-$35 range (bought them when the time was right).....
