His email mobile web was said compromised a week before,as his people had put out that information internally. That was verified in an earlier e-mail.
Only thing he lied about was he was divorced..perhaps "he wished"..who knows what goes on inside a marriage at any give time--pretty hush hush for political reasons--Republicans are all about The Family! Divorce doesn't play well to constituents. Sort of like "Don't ask, don't tell."
The Lobbying part was misleading, but his background could maintain he lobbied at some pts. in business matters as he was involved in political active family-- if you stay under the hour requirement used to be a certified lobbyist. He stretched it

Lee was a socially conservative congressman who opposed the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. In 2009, Lee supported the proposed "Student Internet Safety Act" which was aimed at protecting children from internet predators.! Wiki [she was of age--2 consulting adults just the wife was not consulted]
The congressman was just used as an example to show hypocrisy from politicians by Craigslist as well--
No brothels, prostitutes, escorts, or madams were involved!

Excellent post. At the end of the day it comes down to the selfishness of an individual, who put his own personal desires before his obligation to his own family and the thousands of people who put their trust in him as their representative.
I think there is more than meets the eye..under the rush to Gawker scenario.

Republicans are not forgiving. They are judge and jury, tried and hung on the closest tree. Democrats could give a Rat's patootie...they “fight it out” in their people's court of opinion. It comes down to just business at hand. It is a family private matter...but gossip aka Gawker[so the name] is a leader of such “discovery” on the Left. They, the Gawker types, etc; all want to discover those stains on the next blue dress. Drudge was an innovator.

I was going to say the news media should make 75% of their work about uncovering corruption in government (at all levels and all Parties) instead of this sensationalistic hyperbole.
But then I thought about it more. The problem with infidelity and social misbehavior by our leaders is that it can make these people vulnerable to black mail and giving up classified information from those with special interests, and none of that is good for honest government. Bill Clinton could have easily been blackmailed into doing things not in the USA interest.
Most politicians are expert at maneuvering opinion but they are also victims of having huge egos. That makes them malleable and susceptible.
This is a good thing to uncover as it might prevent others from falling prey to their weakness.
One way to catch a whale would be to go out in the ocean and just start catching random fish one at a time until you happen to reel in a whale. But that would be a stupidly inefficient way to go about it.
Even in DC there are millions of people who are not in congress. In this particular case, there was nothing about the ad that was targeted to congressmen (or other high officials), or that would make it more likely that one of them would respond (other than that they might be hornier than other people).
Stuck what out? He was caught red-handed.
I guess that is the single greatest motivator for me to remain faithful to my wife, I don't want to look my sons in the face and have to answer his question of "Why did you do that to us"?

CNN’s “Reliable Sources” had the Gawker reporter who broke the Lee story on but they only gave the story about five minutes worth of air time.
I guess...it was safe to assume she wouldn't ask him for his birth certificate! ..
...and perhaps if Mr. Lee had said he was married, she would not have even cared. And Lee just so happens to pick ANOTHER government worker, which it was reported she was, looking for luv on craigslist? I thought you just purchased things on Craigslist..
Question: Was any taxpayer money spent at the time- their taxpayer funded computers, were they on the clock...and was Gawker paying a government worker (was that ever established?) for favors which would benefit the company financially? ;) ;)
