The unemployment rate in Mexico was last reported at 4.94 percent in December of 2010. From 2000 until 2010, Mexico's Unemployment Rate averaged 3.45 percent reaching an historical high of 5.93 percent in May of 2009 and a record low of 2.22 percent in November of 2002. The labor force is defined as the number of people employed plus the number unemployed but seeking work. The non labor force includes those who are not looking for work, those who are institutionalized and those serving in the military. Yes I am serious. It is higher for Mexican women who immigrate to the US , as those who come here tend to be from the rural poor (most of Mexico's population is now urbanized). However, the problem will take care of itself as 1. Mexico's birthrate is rapidly falling, as is the case with ANY urbanized society and 2. Second and Third generation Mexican Americans tend to have birthrates closer to the American median.

The truth is that birthrates are falling all over the world, with mostly only the Africans these days having high birthrates, a fact mitigated by the high rate of infant mortality in subsaharan Africa.

Well, I once lived in a heavily Colombian neighborhood in Miami. The women are one hell of an export, especially compared to the fat harpies that increasingly comprise our own population.

100 years from now, the third and fourth generation Mexican Americans will be protesting the Africans who will be pouring into the US.
