Nearly half of the members in a focus group of Republicans put together by Fox News say they don't trust President Barack Obama's response to the Egypt crisis because they believe he's a Muslim.
The Iowa-based group were asked by influential Republican 'message guru' Frank Luntz for their views on Mr Obama's pre-Super Bowl interview with Fox News's Bill O'Reilly.
The meeting with the focus group was broadcast on Sean Hannitys programme Monday night.

After a question by Mr O'Reilly about the Muslim Brotherhood's role in forming a government in Egypt, Mr Luntz asked why they all seemed to have such a negative reaction to Obama's answers, iowaindependent.com reports. One woman said she believed the presidents religious convictions guide his policies. When asked to clarify, she said, 'I believe that he is a Muslim.'
When Luntz asked the rest of the group how many believed Obama is Muslim, about a dozen, or nearly half, raised their hands.
'Now do you understand the implications of what youre saying here?' Mr Luntz asked. 'What the medias going to say about this group and about the Iowa Caucus voters in the future. Do you realise what youre opening up here?' Some members of the focus group described Obama's religious belief as 'liberalism,' 'the most intolerant of all.'
This isnt the first time Iowa has made headlines for comments about the presidents faith.
Kim Lehman, one of the states three representatives on the Republican National Committee, publicly questioned the presidents religion last summer. Other Iowa Republicans joined in, with state Sen. Sandy Greiner saying she respects the point of view of anyone who says the president is a Muslim....

He got his orders from the Saudi King. That is why there was such an about face on Mubarak.
Did OReilly also have that group or tape of that group on or does the reporter have Hannity and O’Reilly confused? I would bet that both of them would not like that.
Even some of the most die-hard Democrats that I know, now agee that Obama is a Muslim.
I told them that I think that Obama was raised a Muslim, but more like a secular Muslim on the order of a secular Jew that picks and chooses some of the traditions to follow and rejects the rest.
I guess, that means that Obama is an apostate Muslim. I really think that Obama is an atheist, but you can’t really argue with someone about what that person believes. Can you?
Is he a Communist? A Muslim?
A Muslim Communist?
A Communist Muslim?
It’s just so hard to pin this guy down.
Call your local radio talkshow and tell them about this. This is the fastest way to make this known to more and more people. Not everyone we know reads FR although I do try to get fellow conservatives to check it out.
It’s hard to draw any other conclusion based on his actions in office. Obama may not be a practising Muslim but it’s obvious he’s a Muslim sympathiser. Anyone who says otherwise is either looking the other way or lying through their teeth.
This sets MSNBC Matthews head on fire, great fun to watch. L O Donnell too, he was ranting tonight.
The Muslim Brotherhood is Communist/Muslim, although it started out as Nazi/Muslim, and worked closely with Hitler. After Hitler was defeated, the Communists took it over.
Although the left hates to admit it, Nazis and Communists are both totalitarian socialist parties of the left.
So that means that Obama feels right at home with the Muslim Brotherhood, because he’s a Communist/Muslim too.
Agree. Remember, under their rules they are allowed to lie to get their end results.
It was part of Vannity’s 1 hour show.
well lol! Its the truth
I am agnostic about what Obama is. However, I suspect he might follow his mothers views like he does in most things. On the other hand he was raised a Muslim as a small child. Heck the sending him back to Hawaii might have in fact been due to the family concern her child was turning away from atheism toward Islam.
What is funny is reading Dim comments on youtube where these videos are posted. They think these people are so so dumb for not believing exactly what some politician says. But of course this is a time what he claims fits what he needs to say to win elections. I would say most people are smartly skeptical about what presidents say and that includes about JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, both Bushes and most of all Clinton and Obama.
Pols sometimes tell the truth when what they believe corresponds with what will help them. Sometimes a pol will tell the truth even when it hurts there election chances though off the top of my head I can not think of any great examples, except GW Bush. Pols often tell us what we want to hear.
Zer0’s not a muslim. He’s a Fatwa issuing Caliph.
What you said.
The Marxian Mook is a communist in the mold of Hugo Chavez, for the time being. Things are on the up and up, so he doesn’t need God.
Eventually, he’ll suffer some reverse and then he’ll have his “awakening.” If we’re lucky, this will only result in somebody writing a third installment of his autobiography.
“Remember, under their rules they are allowed to lie to get their end results.”
“Taqiyya”: Lies to ADVANCE Islam. (the ladyboy does it hourly.)
A muslim is “justified” in lying because the Koran says it is alright if it furthers the muslim cause.
All that you said- and-
HE’S A MUSLIM.
Not only ‘allowed’ but instructed and encouraged to do so. The word of a Muslim is worthless. Their assurances are no more than a means to an end.
No less an expert on the matter of being a Christian than Christ himself said you know a vine by it fruit. Paul outlined the fruits of The Spirit and I have not seen Obama exhibit a single one of them.
Or as my Mom would say, “Actions speak louder than words!”
Try: Mussolini wannabe for size.
How would Barack Hoover Obama’s action be different, if he wasn’t trying to help the Muslim Brotherhood?
Heck, some ministers don’t even tell you the truth about their beliefs. I remember going to my minister after taking a survey of religion course that included Paul Tillich, and asking the minister if he agreed with Tillich. He said yes and I asked him why he preached such a fundamentalist message if he agreed with Tillich. He said that a minister has to preach the kind of message that the congregation wants to hear.
Another Muslim lie.
Why does the American public buy into these lies?
Sorry, I don't get it.

Let’s be honest and call it what it is “An Inferno.”
Three things I worry about: Muslims, Marxists and illegal aliens. With regard to these, Barack Obama is batting 1.000.
Ping for later viewing.
I would say Muslim. Everything he does points back to the Muslims.
Where there’s a prayer rug there’s a Muzzie.
And that is what I was telling the radio show about.I was surprised that the people on the radio program had not heard about hannitys/Luntz segment.
And the truth shall set you free. People are often shamed by the Left into keeping their mouths shut about what they see right in front of their eyes. I think more and more Americans have had enough.
All one needs to know is that he is anti-American. THe other labels are distractions.
You have him all wrong. He is a Marxist Muslim.
1)This year President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of “not wanting to offend anyone.”

As a Christian I am offended by my Muslim President. Do you believe what he does or what he says?
Me too, but with very strong Muslim sympathies.
Me too! I'm more qualified for president than he is....at least I can show everyone my birth certificate.
As for me, I maintain that Obama is actually a pagan idolator. It occurred to me that the only thing that Obama seems to worship is himself. He often seems to truly believe in his own divinity.
Yes, Muslim sympathies and traditions that he learned in childhood, the kind of ingrained traditions that evoke warm feelings and comfort like an adult form of a baby blanket.
