So the question on everyone's mind is: who's next?
The Egyptian revolution is a challenge to state led authoritarian capitalism, but it is also a response to rising food costs and soaring unemployment. There is also the social media factor, which has allowed protesters to circumvent traditional state run media sources and organize more efficiently.
What countries offer a similar mixture to that found in Egypt? And what investments are at stake?
(Excerpt) Read more at businessinsider.com ...
yeah, not bloody likely.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a little revolution in some on that list.
This is great news. We could have a world with no dictators. However, I doubt that Vietnam or China will get rid of their turd dictator.
The U.S.?
In 2012?
I wonder which one is Soro’s next target.
This list is precisely why I expect the Muslim Brotherhood to behave themselves in Egypt for a year or two. Although the Suez Canal would be something they could use as a weapon against Europe they would be wise to be patient for some bigger fish to become available. 0bama and the USA might destabilize oil countries like Saudi Arabia and Libya for them. Once those countries are destabilized the MB could consolidate them with Egypt and really stick it to the rest of the world.
Anyone think North Korea got to watch????? Wonder how much China watched?
Jordan will be the next target because of its proximity to Israel.
Don’t bother Dear Leader right now...he’s still trying to decide if he should care about what’s happening in Egypt and, if so, how he’s going to make it look like he cares.
No America? Pussies.
This reason is their despair and hunger. A major cause of this is a food shortage. War is the regimes such as the one we can expect, to coral and divert its peoples' rage. They only need to be ruthless.
Algeria should be at/near the top of the list.
Libya, Iran, and China, I wouldn’t mind but at the same time I remember the phrase that more tears come from answered prayers than the unanswered ones.
We’ve already seen how Iran, China and Venezuela handle these sort of uprisings. Letting them go on for three weeks isn’t part of their strategery.
Jordan.
With an Egypt ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood, Jordan is all that stands between Iran’s caliphate child from obliterating Israel.
Jordan will be the next target. Somalia, Yemen, those are small fry. Jordan.... Pray for the king.
A great day is dawning - an era of freedom and democracy. This is the event we have all been waiting for - the middle east is about to fall!!!!!
Never thought the Soviet Union would fall! And now this! A great day in the world.
Amazing!!!
1. Morocco
2. Jordan
3. Syria
4. Saudi Arabia
5. Iran
6. Libya
7. Yemen
8. Pakistan
9. Vietnam
10. Venezuela
11. China
—
You left one out. The United States of Obama.
They might be on an accelerated timetable due to the risk of losing Obama in two years.
I doubt it will be Vietnam, Venezuela, or China. In fact I would take them off the list because they already have the Soros brand of “freedom”.
I’m guessing Algeria or Yemen.
No America? Pussies
take on an armed america, i don’t think so...
1. Morocco
2. Jordan
3. Syria
4. Saudi Arabia
5. Iran
6. Libya
7. Yemen
8. Pakistan
9. Vietnam
10. Venezuela
11. China
Iran, Vietnam, Venezuela and China have absolutely no chance of becoming the next Egypt.
1.) They are not U.S. allies and a cut off of U.S. aid cannot be threatened by Obama.
2.) They have absolutely no qualms about gunning down protestors in the streets.

3.) They do not give a rat's @ss what CNN or "world opinion" thinks.
The situation is going to be volatile for some time to come. The Brothers might not be able to mollify them without some aggressive move on its neighbors.
Nothing binds a people better than war.
It seems the best we can hope for, is that they confine this belligerence to petty border incursions.
I'm beginning to think this is the start of Armageddon.
12. The U.S.
Mubarak’s Egypt is the new Soviet Union. That’s almost funny.
If things were so horrible behind Hosni’s iron curtain, how often did you post about it prior to this uprising?
I liken it to the dominant gang taking over the public schhools in Detroit.
Would that be a great day?
SK, I appreciate you rpositive attitude.... but those in power right now in Egypt are guilty of torturing their own people. NOTHING is assured right now, and your optimisim while nice, is not yet warrented.
Egypt is NOT yet free, a brutal Military is now in power. A very very well armed and trained military is in power.
Mubarak is gone, thats a start. There is a long road ahead for the people of Egypt. Take a step back and start looking at the reality of the situation rather than the cheering mobs in Cairo. Many of those people may be dead inside the next week, and that is no cause for cheering at all.
“This is great news. We could have a world with no dictators.”
Let’s wait and see what happens in Egypt. Yes, one “dictator” is on the run from the mob and military, but nobody has stepped up to be in charge yet.
What if Egypt becomes a strict Shari’a law Islamic setup, where they cut your head off if you don’t love allah exactly the right way or if you cut your beard off?
If all of those 11 do that too, then we could get a Caliphate that will unite all of Islam.
China, is the country to fear these days.....
NOW can we stop turning corn into ethanol??
Don’t forget all the countries in the European Union, esp. Great Britain.
Well....yes and no...this opens up the way for radical Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorists to get a foothold and keep the implementation of their world wide caliphate on schedule.
We’ll see how much FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY take hold, if any...watch for the murder of Christians to take place, wholesale rivers of blood...
so, time to drill for some more domestic fossil fuels?
Mubarak would have been a hero.
I'm sure Israel would have played war with him with a wink and a nod to keep security.
Aircraft carrier skippers worldwide certainly agree with you.
I guess you never heard, “The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know.”
They are working out those details. No cash sales of ammo is the primer.
12. Michigan

No, but we should start making them put it into charred white oak barrels and let it age before use.
Bankrupt them. Drill baby drill. They have nothing else in the ME that we can’t do ourselves, grow ourselves, and better.
We must flip the birdie to the environmentalists, the Leftist, Socialist Democrats, rebuild America, bankrupt the ME by doing for ourselves as we should have been doing all along, and see their Sharia World dreams dry up and turn to dust.
We have not only given away our jobs, but our security as well.
I think the USA will join that list on Nov.8, 2012.....
Jordan, Saudi, and possibly Yemen and Paki will fall quickly.
Others would turn guns on crowds and protest would be over in 12 hours.
A great day is dawning - an era of freedom and democracy. This is the event we have all been waiting for - the middle east is about to fall!!!!!
Never thought the Soviet Union would fall! And now this! A great day in the world.
Amazing!!!

Are you being sarcastic????????
Cuba?
Did you forget the < sarcasm> tag or did you just fall off of the CNN turnip truck?
Like the Shah of Iran, Hosni Mubarak was no angel. Be that as it may, his regime was what kept Egypt out of the radical Islamist orbit.
Remeber how "freedom and democracy" turned out in the Gaza Strip?
Remember how radical Islamist Hamas took over complete control of the Gaza Strip by force of arms even though Hamas only got 43% of the total vote in the election?
Especially with the naive idiot that we now have in the White House, the situation is extremely dangerous.
Wait a year before you start doing cartwheels.
In a year, you might be singing, "Meet the New Boss. Far worse than the Old Boss".

4. 0bambi won’t support the protesters.
We very well can be seeing this become a regional and perhaps global movement...in Europe and the US we have political systems which allow for changing our government via election process, hence less drama.
The power of Freedom is irrefutable.
Obama? Is that you?
CC, I’m guessing Syria.
