This is part of an interview with Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugged. It is about last year's C-PAC

Nothing was said about the Islamic doctrine that shows that jihadists would be waging war against the U.S. even if we did end all actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. The panel agreed with Obama, that Muslims are angry with us because of our actions, and will stop being angry with us if we change our foreign policy. This view is naïve and reflects ignorance of Islamic doctrine. And consider this: if Ron Paul were as anti-Islam as he is anti-Israel, he would not have been in CPAC, and his perspective would not have been represented. Instead of coming together on our basic core values and circling the wagons on the fundamentals — national security, small government, low taxes, and the freedom of speech — the CPAC leadership had a circus of the fringe.

but Palin finished behind even Bachmann. That's not good when you consider how similar their stands on issues are and how popular both are with tea partiers. It makes one wonder if the activists there think Sarah's become unelectable.

You sound awfully CONCERNED. I'm not worried about any polls. The only poll that matters when we get to vote.

Do anyone truly believe those numbers? If they really do, then why the obsession with Palin? Thats like picking on the guy who’s constantly last in class, “haha, you can never be class captain” What’s the point?

It is more likely that media and others are trying to make themselves feel better by reinforcing a message they know to be false

Party line? I don’t belong to a party.

Leeching onto Palin? He was hired by McCain to help run the Palin VP’s ground campaign. That seems to be his bailiwick.

[She has to show what side she is on before conservatives commit to her.]

She showed independence from the establishment toadies at CPAC, an ability to buck the tide. What is wrong with that? Don’t write about her if she is so washed up and can’t win.

If Eisenberg wasn’t Jewish, would you still be trashing Palin?

Please, conservatives, take some time to...

Excellent post loveliberty2, but is it too late? Are the principles and ideals that those great men stood for no longer of importance to our hedonistic, narcis'sistic, nihil'istic nation? More Americans can name the siblings of "Snooki" than they could the Founders.

Am I giving up? My signature answers that.

But these serious, real straw polls come along, and Palin does not do well.

This poll is meaningless, they are always meaningless. Ron Paul has 4 times, he has no chance of becoming the nominee. The man is senile.

You can poll fudgePAC all day and it still won't represent the conservatives in this country.

My choices
1) Paul
2) Palin

Paul promises Less Government and I believe him. All he does is vote no.

Palin also promises Less Government, but she might get “distracted” from cuts by foreign policy in the Middle East.
She would tear into Obama with relish, and I would very much enjoy that.

I’m not sure I think that Ron Paul will win in 2012 though, so I’m not sure that applies to me.

These straw polls are polls of who people want to be the Presidential Nominee, not polls of who people think will be the Presidential Nominee.

As Trump said at CPAC. Ron Paul will not win the nomination.

I agree. Don’t know who will, but it won’t be Paul.

Wow---we got a "true believer" here---ROTFL.

HERE'S A COUPLE CLUES FOR THE CLUELESS: Glassner was associated with two of the most dismal Repub campaigns in history---McCain and Dole.

Glassner and his underlings were part of the trashing of Sarah after the 08 trouncing by a community organizer.

Glassner should have been the LAST person she’d hire.

So why Glassner? Sure would like to see Glassner's cell phone records and emails (snix).

Maybe Sarah Palin will cause Lewis M. Eisenberg to have a moment of epiphany and change his pro abortion thinking. Remember, “A moment of realization is worth a thousand prayers.”

We have to consider that Eisenberg has raised millions of dollars for the Republican party. Also, he has strong ties to the Jewish community, being one of the Republican Jewish Coalition’s vice chairs. What this all comes down to is why kick a gift horse in the mouth?
