This Border officer is probably going to lose his job for being honest.

23 Days later, the PR person sent them a carefully worded letter.

Then someone from DHS calls the news station to ‘assure’ them nothing was ever found.

Methinks they doth protest too much. Must be true.

Besides, if the number of apprehended potential terrorists was actually revealed to the public (just say the one’s crossing the Canadian border), the public would be shocked.

Wonder how soon they will fire that gentleman in the video?

Whew. I feel much better knowing DHS is on the case.

Say, DHS, how's that border enforcement coming along?

I mean the one in Arizona, not the one in Afghanistan.

There were no nukes. There has never been any nukes. And if there were nukes, rest assured they were not our nukes.

We know nothing.

The officer ‘should’ (ain’t hindsight wonderful?) have said he had no ‘personal experience’ of it happening, but had heard grapevine rumors that it had somewhere else.

That would have covered his butt, and his superior’s.

Not only will he lose his job but the “off camera PR person” will too because she didn’t shut down the interview. Interesting that they felt the need to send a PR person to supervise.

Yep, he was just nervous in front of the camera and misspoke. Move along. Nothing to see.

From listening to the video, I cannot ascertain what is most important.

If this guy ‘knows’ of some discovery of dirty nukes, he keeps saying ‘not here’. So, it is likely that he wasn’t involved in their discovery personally. He is passing on hearsay to the media.

That doesn’t mean I don’t believe there have been any discoveries of dirty nukes, in or around San Diego. IIRC they found a ship with some high levels of radioactivity and had it held out in the Bay.

Interesting point. I guess I focused more on the man’s obvious uncomfortable look and how he paused dramatically. The interview prior to that specific question was going well and the conversation sort of flowed. Who knows? I guess it wouldn’t surprise me at all. It also wouldn’t surprise me that it was kept secret.

Well, I for one believe it. I believe that if they found one, it was a damned fluke and was found through no special excellence by DHS. Sometimes a blind pig finds the truffle... DHS couldn't find their ass with both hands and a flashlight. NO terrorist incursions have been found in this country except through failed attempts (ala TSA)

What I also entirely believe is that the DHS would keep this story non-existent and deny, deny, deny.

What we have here is a government that is more concerned about poking their fingers up travelers' asses than they are actually catching a terrorist before-the-act.

Radioactive ships and cargo are found routinely...

That’s because a lot of cargoes are naturally radioactive; Mexican roof tile, for example.

The Port officer may have been trying to answer the reporter's question of whether he had ever found any "nuk-u-lar weapons."

Now if the reporter had asked about "nuc-le-ar weapons," he might have gotten a different answer.

But that’s not all —more and more authorities in Central and South America are finding fully-submersible submarines. So far for smuggling large amounts of cocaine, but what about in the future?

What will be inside the subs?

I am not talking about those primitive surface-skimmers, no.

Don’t forget that 11 months ago they arrested a Hezbollah commander in Tijuana. He was living there, and no one said why.

That sound crazy, but it’s true.

I don’t know if the 2 stories are connected, but perhaps they found some device —or weaponized Anthrax— right over on the other side of the border, in Tijuana.

That is just a theory. That would keep the statements, “nowhere in the USA” and, “not at this port” both true.

Mexico foiled an attempt by Hezbollah to establish a network in South America, a Kuwaiti newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Hezbollah operatives employed Mexicans nationals with family ties to Lebanon to set up the network, designed to target Israel and the West, the Al-Seyassah daily said.

According to the report, Mexican police mounted a surveillance operation on the group’s leader, Jameel Nasr, who traveled frequently to Lebanon to receive information and instructions from Hezbollah commanders there.

Police say Nasr also made frequent trips to other countries in Latin America, including a two-month stay in Venezuela in the summer of 2008.

Nasr was living in Tijuana, Mexico at the time of his arrest, the report said.

The report follows warnings from the United States that Hezbollah and its backer Iran are stepping up operations in the region.

In June, a U.S. congresswoman wrote to the Department of Homeland Security to warn that Hezbollah was increasing its presence in Central and South America.

In her letter, Congresswoman Sue Myrick called on the U.S. to work with Mexican forces, as there was intelligence that Hezbollah was working in conjunction with Mexican drug cartels on the U.S.-Mexico border.

In 2009 a U.S. commander tasked with overseeing U.S. military interests in the region said Hezbollah was linked to drug-trafficking in Colombia.

“We have seen... an increase in a wide level of activity by the Iranian government in this region,” Admiral James Stavridis told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“That is a concern principally because of the connections between the government of Iran, which is a state sponsor of terrorism, and Hezbollah,” he said.

In February a U.S. court in Miami indicted three men for raising funds for Hezbollah, which the U.S. classifies as a terrorist organization.

Hezbollah is believed to have been behind the bombing of a Jewish cultural center in the Argentinean capital Buenos Aires in 1994, in which 85 people were killed.

Mass Death Event Projected by New Study on Terrorist Immigration

It is more likely than not that a mass death event (MDE) will occur in the United States resulting in total collapse of the US economy, says a newly released report dealing with domestic terrorism and illegal immigration.

[snip]

The report reveals how terrorist aliens are not only systematically entering the US from Mexico but are actively setting up sleeper cell networks in preparation for future attacks while the FBI and US intelligence agencies remain unable to prevent it.

But also look at the guy’s expression on his face when he asks about San Diego. He says “not in the port of San Diego” and he also says “not in this fiscal year.” It’s painfully obvious from the guy’s body language that he was keeping some critical information hidden.

To me it looked like an honest public servant wanted to tell the country something he was told not to tell.

I agree. His body language changed with the question about finding nukes? He stiffened up, he looked away, stammered... doesn’t take a scientist to read that he suddenly became really uncomfortable and was trying to somewhat duck the question but not lie. I think that is what is unusual to some people. We have grown so accustomed to people lying and doing it well that we are amazed when we see someone not doing it.

I’ve been saying it for a long time. They won’t seal the Mexican border because they want the suitcase nukes coming in. An attack will justify their order for martial law and the USA will be a memory.
