David Horowitz's Keynote at CPAC 2011 [The most important and least reported speech at CPAC.]
YouTube ^ | February 12, 2011 | David Horowitz

Posted on 02/13/2011 12:45:16 PM PST by newheart

Speaking on education reform and the Muslim Brotherhood and its connections.

Horowitz' speech.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Foreign Affairs; Government; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: cpac; davidhorowitz; horowitz; muslimbrotherhood; norquist
While press on both sides of the aisle trumpets the clownishness of Ron Paul, the acerbic but sometimes misguided humor of Ann Coulter and the ego-driven puffery of Donald Trump, the most important speech at CPAC goes almost unreported. Horowitz remains one of the most courageous opponents of creeping Islamicism in the U.S wherever it occurs—including within the conservative movement itself.

After listening to this YouTube of David Horowitz speaking to CPAC, I will be sending this link to my entire address list. I urge everyone to do likewise. His comments must be heard throughout this country. His warnings are very valid for all of us.

Potent speech...

**************************************

Time to start posting a link to Horowitz's book...at Amazon:

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam And the American Left [Paperback]

****************EXCERPT ********************************

Vastly Illuminating, September 25, 2004>

By
Kat Bakhu (Albuquerque, NM United States) - See all my reviews

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

I love Horowitz’s example about Khan, saying, when a person leaves a movement after discovering it’s insidious nature, he should feel compelled to inform others of its destructive and evil nature. Of course, this is exactly Horowitz’s story. Amir Khan has never repudiated the muslim brotherhood.. because he was, is and will always be a devout supporter.

That's kinda how I've felt since I left the GOP.

I also first came across Mr. Horowitz when I read Unholy Alliance a few years ago. I’m still baffled by how stupid the left can be in supporting radical Islam (or turning a blind eye to it at best). I understand it better though.

Grat Link, Horowitz draws parallele to the inflitration of Communist Agents into the US Government and the Muslim Brotherhoods contemporary work in the USA.

He is right. And the America people should know.

This video supports what Horowitz is saying:

ex-CIA Agent Reveals: “Muslim Brotherhood” has infiltrated Obama Administration

http://notalemming.wordpress.com/2011/02/03/ex-cia-agent-reveals-muslim-brotherhood-has-infiltrated-obama-administration/

ALSO HOROWITZ refers to an evidentiary document used in the Texas case agaist CAIR, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot. In that documment theplans are set out, how to infiltrate, and names the organizations it will use.

That document can be seen at this link:

Exposing the tie-ins and similarities between the American Left and radical Islam is what David Horowitz has done better than anyone else I can think of. This speech at CPAC doesn't neglect that theme.

Blasting Grover Norquist and the American Conservative Union at its own event for allowing a prominent Islamist to infiltrate the Bush Administration and the ACU shows a lot of guts on Horowitz's part.

Here is another important article...not allowed to be posted on FR.

Frank Gaffney Braves Muslim Brotherhood Infiltration To Warn CPAC About Grover Norquist
http://thinkprogress.org/2011/02/13/gaffney-cpac/

I’ve done extensive research on Norquist. His Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes was instrumental in the corrupt USAID. Norquist is founder of the Islamic Institute and co founder of a radical environmental group with Gale Norton. He got his brother appointed Chief financial officer of DHS to head the money distribution and was at fault for the ‘virtual fence’ fiasco. When you find Norquist, you’ll also find Newt Gingrich right along with him pushing his ‘love the illegal alien/muslim invaders’ agenda.

Norquist wrote the Bush Amnesty. He is the one responsible for bringing Abramoff into the Bush Administration as liason to form the Dept. of Interior.

Norquist IS the wolf in sheep’s clothing of the GOP.

Mrs. Norquist...

Samah Alrayyes Norquist is the founder of Global Partners, LLC, a consulting company that develops strategies to improve understanding and build partnerships between the American people and the Arab and Muslim world. Previously, she worked extensively on Arab and Muslim outreach for the U.S. Agency for International development (USAID). She is an American of Palestinian descent.

[snip] ...writing in support of Ground zero mosque...

The signers are a mixed bag of established Republican activists. One is considered mainstream, with no radical ties. Two lead a group that opposed the ouster of Saddam Hussein. One served as a paid agent of influence for Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi’s government. Another worked for years to weaken U.S. counterterrorism legislation, and collaborated with at least two convicted terrorists. The sixth signer is married to a well-known conservative strategist who has had controversial – some friends say inexplicable – working relationships with convicted terrorists and Muslim Brotherhood operatives.

The signers are:

* David Ramadan, Vice Chairman of Ethnic Coalitions for the Republican Party of Virginia.
* Sherine El-Abd, President of the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women.
* Randa Fahmy Hudome, former Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy, George W. Bush Administration.
* George Salem, former Solicitor of Labor, Reagan Administration.
* Suhail Khan, Chairman, Conservative Inclusion Coalition.
* Samah A. Norquist, former Senior Advisor to Arab and Muslim Outreach for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the George W. Bush Administration.

On August 18, 2010, the morning after the six signers released the letter defending the Ground Zero mosque, Americans for Tax Reform distributed the document by email to Republican and conservative activist leaders. According to ATR’s Patrick Gleason, Norquist’s group circulated the letter at the request of Suhail Khan.

ATR sent out the letter without any objection to the signers’ statement that it was more important to build the mosque near Ground Zero than it was to defeat the Democrats this fall.
