In the movie "City Slickers", Billy Crystal says to Jack Palance: "Hey Curly, killed anyone today?"
Palance replies: "Day ain't over yet."

Obama is just over half way through his term. Imagine what more he can do in the next two years.

You are correct. It takes at least five years and probably more like ten to even begin to evaluate a president's legacy.

We do, however, have some fair indicators where ObaMao is going.

He is divisive as James Buchanan on domestic policies.

He is as naive and incompetent (or worse) than Jimmy Carter on foreign policy.

He is worse than FDR in arrogance.

And more thuggish than LBJ.

Look at the criteria they are using to determine the worst POTUS (of course they had to include GWB in there):

“The historians scored the presidents in 20 categories ranging from “relationship with Congress” and “foreign policy accomplishments” to “communication ability” and “imagination.” When the scores were added up, these 10 had the lowest totals”

Really? What about keeping our country safe, keeping us out of massive debt, maintaining a low level of unemployment, abiding by the Judeo-Christian values upon which our nation was found?

What Republican could possibly have a good “relationship with Congress” with Pelosi and Reid running things? And who cares if someone is a great communicator if all they do is lie anyway? And “imagination”? This is NOT a quality we need in a POTUS; instead, we need pragmatism.

Another useless study.

the 23 voting for Washington as the worst are probably radical blacks who always bad mouth him because he owned slaves. Of course, the fact that he set them free doesn't mean anything to them.

The 23 that voted for Washington need to get the hell out of the U.S.A. I'm surprised they're smart enough to continue breathing, let alone use the Internet.

It’s obvious the liberals have learned from Chicago - they’re voting early and voting often. Fortunately, it’s difficult for dead liberals to vote in this one.

Buchanan, Grant, Harding, Hoover, LBJ, Carter, Obama

Harding I can see making that list but Hoover? Sure, he had some undeniable streaks of RINO in him, but he did believe that the government shouldn't hamper business. I think that if FDR hadn't been elected, the economic recovery would have happened in due time.

The all time worst? Without a doubt that's Franklin Diablo Roosevelt, a Socialist to the nth degree. So much of what's wrong with America today is directly attributable to this utterly evil, mendacious man. The line from FDR to BHO is absolutely clear. The stench of sulfur permeates both of these truly wicked men.

My candidate for the all-time best president was also a favorite of Ronald Reagan: Calvin Coolidge. His small government, pro-business stance is evident in this classic speech from Coolidge.

if those who hate America and what it stands for left then this country would be so much better .

I saw earlier where a group of muslims in CA at a campus did not let the Israeli ambassador speak.
When M Kelly had a professor on defending these muslims all the professor could say was that it is their first amendment right, OK but what about the Israeli.

Then it comes out, these muslims have been doing this for years and have shouted anti American slogans etc then add the idiotic far left fools who shout the same.

Now imagine if all of them left and only good patriotic hard working men and women stayed. This country would be so much better off

This is not statement against immigration but
I say this as someone who did come here from England and who read the constitution, how America was founded why it was etc and have the most up most respect for my new country and yes I am proud to be an American.

If these anti American fools do not like it and want an islamic/left wing loon country then let them leave, hell I’ll even chip in for their airfare.

where is this rag located?

Allentown, Pennsylvania, which does not have RIGHT TO WORK. As a result, I'd surmise that the Lehigh Valley is overpopulated with angry, out-of-work leftists whose unions killed any chance of industry thriving there. The bitter anti-business local residents from Allentown and Bethlehem are probably voting early and often in the poll.

“but he did believe that the government shouldn’t hamper business”

Really? Where’s the evidence for that? He was the first chief executive to treat economic downturn as a national emergency akin to war. FDR followed his playbook.

“The all time worst? Without a doubt that’s Franklin Diablo Roosevelt”

Yes, I admit, I fell into the trap of judging presidents by a sort of Might Makes Right standard. FDR was practically successful, as he was able to placate the public, win frequent reelection, reorient not only his own party but the entire federal government for more than 40 years toward his ideology, and trick the history books into telling it his way. The reason I list Hoover, then, and not FDR, is that people saw through Hoover. He was never so powerful, and failed at the ballot box and in the history books.

This is not the best way to judge politicians, in my opinion. For sometimes their success is the country/world/freedom’s loss. Judged by the criteria of freedom, limited government, constitutionality, etc., he was an abysmal failure. Similar things can be said about the apparent success of Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Wilson.

I’m right there with you. What history did to that man, as well as his Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, is unforgivable.

I also highly recommend the all but forgotten Grover Cleveland.

I’m not a Bush fan.
Mainly because he did not secure our borders and told the American people that Islam is a religion of peace.
HOWEVER; we DO want Zero to be chosen as the worst president on this poll!
