Bombers vs Pansies

Sounds like a liberal version of roller derby.

yes, if they are born that way, then why are they teaching it so successfully to younger generations experimenting with it. It’s taught and learned behavior

they buy boys from poor people about the age of 8, the little guy does not make this choice. then he is raped and enslaved, traded, sold, hired out, beaten, etc. then when he’s considered too old, thrown out

The Puritans, as a whole, were heroic, and we owe them an enormous debt; not merely “some.” As for choosing words carefully, I would suggest that “persecuting breaches of scrupulousity” consists of words carefully chosen to obfuscate.

LOL! There is a car I see frequently here in Fairbanks that has a ton of bumper stickers, as many lefties tend to do. One is the “coexist” and another near it says “Republicans for Voldemort” (Harry Potter evil guy). Gee, I thought he wanted us to coexist?

I dated a muslim girl once. I really liked her and she really liked me. I broke up with her when I found out that our relationship would get her killed if her family found out.

Yep, very family conscious.

So when a gay gets offed here the left screams hate crime, but when one gets offed for kissing his boyfriend in that area they’ll have to respect multiculturalism.

I believe you, that is the story I hear often, the person I knew was from Iran, shiite, lived in Virginia, I often wondered if he was CIA connected as I heard feedback from other friends,His brother was a high level oil official still in Iran, he married a German diplomats daughter and got citizenship, His wife hates Islam, but he treats his family like gold and neighbors as well..we certainly have had direct heated conversations over Christianity and Islam, but he ends up being gracious in our deeeeeep differences as I am a follower of Jesus Christ..thats where my perspective comes from, I personally think America would be wise to ban Islam as a government theocracy..

“The ‘Gay free zone’ slogan is within a diagonal bar across a rainbow flag.”

I LOVE IT!!! A take off on ‘Drug-Free School Zones’.

But why all the fuss? I thought the liberals in England were ‘Tolerant’ of alternative cultures.

But it serves them right, given what they’ve done to England and Europe (and to some extent, the US).

one word— Inquisition

The inquisition, for all its excesses, was never as bad or unjust as what the puritans in England did to Catholics, particularly in Ireland.

Cromwellian Conquest of Ireland

I owe no debt to the Puritans.

You do, indeed. But even your parochial position is less splendid than you appear to think.

You seem to forget that A. Ireland had already been conquered by the Tudors, B. the Irish eventually allied themselves with Charles I in the English Civil War. Charles lost and so did his Irish allies who had raised an army to invade England, and, regarding Drogheda, in accordance with the law of seige at that time, Cromwell gave Drogheda an opportunity to surrender to prevent any bloodshed. Instead of surrendering Drogheda refused, knowing full well, as did everyone at that time, that the consequence of a refusal meant that everyone’s life was forfeit if the walls were breached. The refusal of Cromwell’s offer of clemency forced him to assault the city with great loss of life on the part of his soldiers, and his surviving soldiers killed many soldiers and civilians. The Irish gambled and lost, both with Charles and at Drogheda.
