Prolific TV producer David E. Kelley is known for creating female characters who tend to polarize audiences — most notoriously "post-feminist" poster girl Ally McBeal. Fortunately, for the "Wonder Woman" pilot he's helming for NBC, he's already made one move that has been met with near-unanimous approval: Adrianne Palicki has been cast to play the titular superheroine.

I like the fact the used the word "titular" and put the words "the set" above a photo with an obvious focal point.

But that's just me regressing.

I was not familiar with this new addition to the definition:

tit·u·lar (tch-lr)
adj.
1. Relating to, having the nature of, or constituting a title.
2.
a. Existing in name only; nominal: the titular head of the family.
b. Bearing the title of a church or monastery that is no longer active.
3. Bearing a title: titular dignitaries.
4. Derived from a title: the titular role in a play.
5. Massive winnebagos. As in “That superhero has huge titulars”
n. One who holds a title.

[From Latin titulus, title.]

I guess you're not aware of the new trends. We're lucky they didn't give us Rachel Ray's fried eggs. You need to keep abreast.

Lynda Carter is still my favorite when it comes to playing Wonder Woman. Ah, what she did for that costume was a joy to behold! Sorry, Adrianne, no offense.

A decent actress (hard for me to tell when she is so smoking hot and bears a striking resemblance to my ex-wife), she definitely has the physicality for the role.

She must be about 5'10” at least, she towered over the actor playing the Football tough guy “Riggins” in “Friday Night Lights”.

What’s NOT to like?

Outside of her campaigning for Obama, the biggest hurdle is that every Kelley project is a Republican-bashathon and the script review for this one was embarrassing.

She’s homely, a great fit for this project! It isn’t Wonder Woman. It’s just another cookie-cutter David E. Kelly program full of edgy, “quirky” female characters proselytizing liberal propaganda.

The only reason to watch Wonder Woman back then was the curves and jiggle. Oh, and I was in my late teens. The reason I turned Adrianne down when she asked me out is that she’s a stick. And I’m no longer in my teens, but my lies are way better.
