Democrat Play Book 101 On Display In Wisconsin, Unions Take Control
http://radioviceonline.com/ ^ | February 18, 2011 | Steve McGough

Lots of news stories and blog posts about the teachers unions taking over the Wisconsin State Legislature yesterday and how the Democrats went into hiding to avoid what I suppose is their sworn duty. In reality they did not just hide, they fled the state.

This is right out of the Democrat’s playbook. If they win an election … they WON. Don’t you remember what President Obama said two years ago? When the legislative and executive branches were held by Democrats, the mantra was “we won, deal with it.”

After the elections last November, the tide turned. Republicans took control of the US House, and many state legislatures flipped too. The 2010 election in Wisconsin was a dramatic shift. Prior to the election, Democrats had a strong hold on both the State Senate and Assembly with 52 Democrats, 33 Republicans and three representing other parties. Republicans now hold 53 of the seats to the Democrat’s 33 -- a complete reversal.

Have at it fellow FRpers, post in response away. :)=^..^=

This is the Democratic Party at work, trying to interfere with a GOP Governor who is simply doing his job that he was elected to do.

It’s very important that people realize that this is how it’s going to work from now on. Democraps don’t get what they want, they strike. That’s how it works in Europe.

We must stop it and stop it NOW. Fire ‘em all. Plenty of unemployed folks that want to be hired.

GOP - HOLD THE LINE!

The Democrats are hysterical in WI mainly because they know they are up against someone who will not bend (Scott Walker). Scott was County Executive in Milwaukee county for 8 years. Anyone who knows Milwaukee politics knows what a thankless task that was for a conservative. Scott never backed down. He always does what he says he will do.

I don’t think the governor will bend on this either (I hope not) and the GOP on the national level needs to take note that this is what the popular trend is and it is growning. It is no longer go-along-get-along with the POS democrat party and it is long past the time to take off the gloves and slam the democrat party at each and every turn. The GOP needs to grow some nads, beat them down and continue to kick them until they no longer twitch.

Since the dems left the state I assume the police force doesn’t have the authority to pursue them but can the state send bounty hunters after them?

There has to be someway to get around what must essentially be an illegal refusal to do the job these jerks were elected to do!

They just need to get one of them back!

Nah - sending the cops after them would just allow them to become national victims. Scott will wait them out. The Senate already read the bill 3 times and had the debate. When the Dems return, there is only a vote left. They forfeited their opportunity to respond.

The Senate can start passing bills that only require a simple majority - that might get the Dems’ attention:)

Don’t forget the words of Andy Stern (SEIU President) “we will use the Power of Persuasion and if that doesn’t work then we will use the Persuasion of Power”.

0bama had his one comment yesterday and he is clearly far more concerned about the importance of “their ability to Collective Bargaining” than we has about the possibility of insolvency of the Government.

His retarded mindset is exactly the way of thinking that produced that Economy Killing/ Government Collapsing Budget.

In his two cell brain he reasons that the greater good is to maintain the lavish Union Contracts along with the Bankrupted Spending, not keep this Government Operational and Solvent.

He actually appears to prefer the financial collapse of Government over the reigning in of Union Contracts and Spending - and that interview is objective evidence to proof of this fact.

He’s basically admitting that he’s at war with the people of America who make money - all of them.

Does anyone have a feel for what the people of Wisconsin are thinking, and on whose side they're currently supporting? Obviously, the overwhelming majority of them wanted nothing to do with Democrats last fall, but where do they stand today?

If I were in the Republican leadership in that state, I would hold daily press conferences, pointing out the Dems' cowardice, and how they're holding the state hostage.

Call / write Gov. Walker and tell him to HANG TOUGH.
Thank him, short and sweet.

govgeneral@wisconsin.gov

write your state rep and senator, too:

Union pressure from the DNC/White House/Union leaders. How disgusting is that? Battleground for this whole issue is now Wisconsin.

Get a grip folks - the party is OVER and even though you think we are just a bunch of farmers in flyover country - guess again. Elections have consequences.

We Won, Get over it. I love writing that. :) :)

Fox News interviewed some high-school kiddies who had been rounded up by their teachers and brought to the capitol to protest. Nary one of them seemed to have any clue what they were actually protesting about. (at least back in the 60's they could flash a bleary-eyed glance at a camera and say "like....the war, man!")

>>>>They’re crashing the system on purpose<<<<

Its as obvious as the day is long. This is the only way I think we can beat 0bama and all of their kind (given that there no longer is a free press in America any longer) we have to expose their intentions by demonstrating where the policies will take us.

Bankruptcy.

Does Boehner have the guts to actually stand up to 0bama and the Media - IMO he loses that one / not enough conviction.

On THIS premise alone (they are trying to crash the system) Boehner SHOULD stand and fight like the Wis Gov.
