Unions

Wow, public-sector union members sure have a good deal. Incomes 50-100% above the private-sector average, plus generous benefits .... so, can anyone get in on this? Nope, sorry, membership is limited to just a privileged few.

OK, so let's get this straight - only a small percentage of society is on the public-sponsored gravy train, and the rest of the working masses has to pay their bills. Where's the fairness here?

President O'bastard, please explain why you are siding with the elitists. And while you're at it, what's your position on legislature members not showing up for work, just because they don't like the bill?

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Extended News; Government; US: Wisconsin
KEYWORDS: elitists; shakedown; thuggery; unions
Love to see the Blue-lipped Kenyan Usurper explain why he's not supporting the average WI taxpayer in this.

The media should do some explaining, too.

CNN, like in Egypt, left out the Organizing for America part of the Wisconsin protests. Typical Lefty news reporting.

Oh, and why do I fund a bureaucrat’s fat pension that they never even paid for?

Screw the public unions.

“why he’s not supporting the average WI taxpayer”

You can take the president out of community organizing, but you can’t take community organizing out of the “WON”.

There is a clear anti union feeling moving across the country and why not after all unions have destroyed both jobs and industries in our country for decades.

Unions destroyed the US Steel industry.

Unions destroyed the American textile industry.

Unions made the US automobile industry less competitive in the global market.

And those are just the tip of the iceberg.

Union thugs and fascists are communists.

Union management and politicians, the union members I would say the majority are forced to join, and do not agree with the politics. Let us educate the people to what their unions are doing.

“Union thugs and fascists are communists.”

Union thugs are typically communists. They cannot simultaneously be fascists. I hope you don’t mind the correction but the thing is that we get a lot of outsiders cruising these forums with no other purpose than to find quotations that make us look bad.

In short; Please don’t feed the trolls.

Thank you!

Mark my words the Unions will be responsible for sending International Ocean Cargo Container Shipping to Mexico as well. That will kill several West Coast ports, and send huge quantities of revenue to a very unstable Mexico.

Nothing but trouble on the horizon, because of misguided Leftist mischief.

Right. We have to pay for our own retirement and benefits as well as theirs. Somehow, that seems really, really unfair. If I wasn’t 17 hours away from WI, I’d be there. As it is, I live in bodunk GA where the only air travel is located hundreds of miles away. I can’t afford a new car, but I’m supposed to let these leeches live off me and my family for the rest of my life. Not gonna happen.

Wait! The EPA gets some of that credit.

Kidding aside, unions could very well destroy the Democratic Party. After all. they destroy pretty much everything else they touch.
