MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The Rev. Jesse Jackson has urged thousands of protesters in the Wisconsin Capitol to continue their stand against a sweeping anti-union bill that state Republicans are pushing.
Jackson made an unannounced appearance at the protests Friday afternoon. Protesters rushed to shake his hand or high-five him, and many shouted, "Thank you, Jesse."
Jackson told the protesters they were fighting for a just cause.....

Is Sharpton there too? Seems those two always have to get their noses into thing that don’t concern them — I guess it’s the only way to keep their names in the news. Otherwise, they would have nothing else to do.
If Jesse Jackson showed up to support me in my cause, I’d begin to wonder if I was on the right side of the issue.
These delusional protesters ACTUALLY believe that Jackson’s support will somehow help them in the eyes of the public....
So half of the Justice Brothers has showed up in Wisconsin, can Big Al Sharpton be far behind??
Hey, maybe Al can get a mob of teachers to attack an innocent Jew. He hasn’t done that in awhile...
Geez, Jesse, what took you so long? Gettin’ slow in your old age?
Yawn, who cares? he’s irrelevant. doesn’t he have a love child someplace to support?
That explains the chant I heard on TV: “Union rights are human rights!”
Of course that rancid whore was there.
America’s former #1 Race Pimp is concerned that Al Sharpton has taken away his money gig. Sorry Jesse. You’re too late. Fat Al has won the title of America’s #1 Race Pimp. You’re just #2.
That’s all Wisconsin needs with this Jocker showing up. Let the states take care of themselves, the Feds have more than enough to fix.
Has he offered to pay for the deficit that will result if the cutbacks aren’t implemented?
Is there any doubt that Saint Martin Marxist Luther King would be marching with these unions goons were he alive today?
Even here, there's a small but vocal segment of FReepers who embrace MLK just because he had an 'R' next to his name. Well, when he was shot in Memphis, just what was MLK doing?
Why marching with a union, of course!
And Marty Junior took a firm stand against against personal liberty and freedom with his opposition to RIGHT TO WORK (which should be the law everywhere):
"In our glorious fight for civil rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans, such as 'right to work.' It is a law to rob us of our civil rights and job rights. It is supported by Southern segregationists who are trying to keep us from achieving our civil rights and our right of equal job opportunity. Its purpose is to destroy labor unions and the freedom of collective bargaining by which unions have improved wages and working conditions of everyone.Wherever these laws have been passed, wages are lower, job opportunities are fewer and there are no civil rights. We do not intend to let them do this to us. We demand this fraud be stopped. Our weapon is our vote."
Marty Junior, Jesse, and Fat Al -- they're all the same, supporting the thugocracy of unionism.
You know that Jesse was looking for something that might make him relevant again. Make sure he “stays out da Bushes”.
His kids went to private schools so why should he care?
Jesse Jackson’s appearance insures democrats that 93% of blacks will blindly support the dems agenda......Oh that’s right.
Never mind
Community Organizer Parasites like Jackson always gravitate to get their faces and names in the news?
“If Jesse Jackson showed up to support me in my cause, Id begin to wonder if I was on the right side of the issue”.
...this is the exact argument I have with lib relatives. I point out the dirtballs, wild eyed, gray haired hippies, and the nut job Hollywood types that are liberals and ask “do you really associate your beliefs with people like this”? “Have you taken a good look around at who your like minded associates are”?
Teachers not getting 100K a year is they’re chief concern you know the poor people.
Jesse showing up is a sure fire way to send the teachers back to their homes.
Oh goodie. I was hoping Jessie would show up. There must be a need to stir up the racial hatred. Look for Reverend Al next.
Big whoop.
Too bad OJ can’t get a short vacation from prison to assist there.
It wouldn’t be a proper circus without a clown.
Yeah, Baby - no one teaches how to milk the system for special privileges like good ol’ Jesse.
Like flies to sh*t.
Not a lot of Blacks in the crowd.
“Like flies to sh*t.”
Jesse be smellin’ da money.
so now Democrats are in FAVOR of shutting down government (which is exactly what these cowards in Wisconsin have done)?
Where there is sh!t, there are flies.
and vice versa
I was wondering how long it would take this truly POS race pimp to show up. Sharpton will no doubt be along soon also. Al can’t let Je$$ie upstage him.
Rats love their cheese..... and want others cheese too. Much more than their fair share. Phoneys and liars....
Jackson and Sharpton give “ambulance chasing lawyers” a good name. Two of the biggest con artists in American religious and political history, and the media still kisses their crooked asses.
Have they no shame?
Jesse...uh, is this the guy who wants to tear off a piece of 0bama’s anatomy?
Jesse isn’t going to miss a protest. Is Sharpton far behind?
What union does JJ represent? The race hustlers union, the preachers without churches union, the actors union?
jesse hijackson is so THEN. jesse, you are a racist tool. No one cares what you think about anything. Take all the money you stole and extorted over the years and leave us alone, you racist loser.
If there is a protest of some kind, Jackson has to be there. As I said, it gives him relevance because he is so irrelevant. I find it sad that he passes himself off as the reincarnation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Meanwhile, Jackson couldn’t carry Dr. King’s jockstrap.
...soon to be out of work when one-termer Obama takes over negritude.
I read a post the other day from a teacher saying she didn’t get paid as highly as other Wisconsin Districts do. She said she’d loose $30,000 on her pension, if the Wisconsin Bill passed. But, she didn’t seem to understand that the State was broke? She seemed to think that her pension would be paid for by money that grows on trees? All she was concerned about was herself?
