How about immediately and permanently closing down the government schools and placing the buildings and land for sale? Then, give every child a voucher for 1/3 the amount that would have been spent on them in their government school.
Let common citizens open dame schools or one room schools in the homes of neighbors. Let churches open schools. Let the vouchers be used there.
The proceeds from the sale of the government school land and buildings could fund the pensions of those teachers who have already retired or who have enough time in the system to have earned a retirement.
How long would that take? Hm? In a few days all K-12 education in the state could be privatized.

I’ve yet to see any poll out of Wisconsin on what the voters there think about this mob. It’s been 5 days now, and nothing in terms of public polling?

.....and the garbage left on the floor under the rotunda. I sort of doubt the teachers did that. That’s the Superdome syndrome one might find committed by Jesse Jackson’s gang. Feral savages.
I’ve said all along the TP should stay home and send email and voice mail messages of support to the governor and the pub legislators. The rats look real bad for doing this. Sometimes it’s better to let your opponent shoot himself in the foot rather than give the appearance of being a provocateur.
I think the TP rally is a knee-jerk response. It also runs the risk of weakening our position if there’s a poor turnout. This was a dumb idea, imo.
When your opponent is losing, stay out of his way.

Not only that, but it gives the media and the opposition to claim that the pub legislators and the governor are just appeasing their base instead of acting in the best interests of the people of WI.
A little 3 hour rally provides a lot more potential for creating trouble for our side than it helps the legislators or the governor.
