The President has not yet certified the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” and it will not go into effect until 60 days after that.
But during a teleconference from Afghanistan to Camp Pendleton, Major General Richard Mills said training packages to prepare for the repeal have already arrived in Helmand Province.
Mills described the training as "quite extensive,” with a series of classes, including scenarios and discussion groups. He said the trainers are being trained, and Marines based at Camp Leatherneck will start going through the program as soon as the directive comes down from headquarters.
“It’s a little bit more difficult when you get out to where the fighting is going on,” he said. “But we will do it as soon as we can get them into an environment where they can sit, pay attention, be rested and take it seriously.”

I just find it so ironic that the DADT training packages are already in Afghanistan, when absentee ballots arrive too late for the return trip to be counted in time.
We’ve got to train normal soldiers how to fight and live alongside homosexuals? That’ weird. It’s the homos that are mentally challenged. Where is the training to teach the sexual deviants how to fight and live alongside normal soldiers?

The doc follows the Marines of Bravo company as part of the assault on Marjah in Helmand province. For the most part, the Taliban are an elusive force. They don't engage Bravo company in any setpiece knock-down, drag out battles, fights they would certainly lose due to much inferior firepower.
Instead, the Marines of Bravo are cut off although it doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience. And eventually Marjah is largely secured.
However, the locals obviously do not care for the Marines. The feeling is mutual.
Members of the "Afghan army" -- and I use asterisks because that's what's deserved -- deploy with the Marines into Marjah. And although there is a bit of loud talk about how they're credible fighters, on video they look to be an inept assortment of reluctant shrimps and weaklings. At one point a few Marines from Bravo curse a group of Afghans, literally having to kick their butts in order to get them through a doorway into a compound being cleared.
Patently worthless as soldiers, many of the Marines appear to view them with contempt.
Eventually the Taliban wind up back in the town anyway.
Afghanistan is a hopeless place. Marjah will reinforce what you already know. Because of the nature of this lesson it is not very watchable. And not because of any fault with the Marine Corps or the filmmaker.
Its astounding the the military would allow this demoralizing garbage to be filmed in the first place, but adding faggots to the mix at this point is not really going to make the situation any worse, and that's saying something.
The caliber of the commanders on the ground leave a lot to be desired as well (they seems to be a lot more concerned that "non-combatants" will be injured than marines, apparently if you want to make Major you have to coddle the enemy and be a cheerleader for homosexuals in the showers).

The American people are wising up to the threat that we are faced with as a Nation, and I do believe the Leftist, Socialist, Marxist aggressors are already feeling the heat, and are being forced into extraordinary tactics they may have prepared for, but really didn’t expect to have to use.
