Daily Mail ^ | 02/20/11

Posted on 02/20/2011 7:23:33 PM PST by BunnySlippers

According to one source, reported in The Sunday Times newspaper, sensitive parts of her body were covered in red marks that were originally thought to have been bite marks.

After further examination they were revealed to be from aggressive pinching.

And medical sources have revealed  that marks on her body were consistent with being whipped and beaten with the makeshift poles that were used to fly flags during the demonstration.

I think the MSM is not infatuated with muslims, but deathly afraid of them. They have always come down on side of the lawless minority, and the lawless minority are always the most violent.

They're a den of cowards.

She was running around over there in their culture with her head uncovered. That means she is a prostitute in the moslem world

Here's the problem. Your post seems to imply that she should have had her head covered, and because she didn't she got what she deserved.

I suggest that you clearly explain what you meant to say here.

Timmy, when I was young, I traveled in Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. We were traveling by bus. Especially in Tehran, we walked the streets in a group, girls in the center, totally surrounded by the young men we were traveling with. They could not keep us safe. They could not protect us from all the groping hands.
In many of those places, the idea of walking alone was terrifying, because the air wreaked of danger. We knew that kids that wandered off the beaten path, disappeared.
We were foolish to be there at all. And those were peaceful times.
From my experience, I can't imagine any Western woman being in Egypt during a riot and not knowing she was in extreme danger. Lara had spent a lot of time in the Middle East.
She shouldn't have been outside at all. Look again, at the news photos...no women, not even in burkas.
I guess Lara thought she was invincible. Very foolish, indeed.

A. No one “let” her do that. In the journalism that she and Anderson Cooper, et. al., practice - it’s in her personal (i.e. career) interest, and in ratings, do go to a location like that and explicitly take risks. I think it’s pretty awful, but I also think she knew what was possible where she was going to kick her sensationalist career in sensational journalism up a notch. So, there are limits to the shock one can experience over this.

Ummm, are you saying our male reporters shouldn't be able to have a Bible in their luggage? You know that 'offends' Muslims.

Muslims also don't like men drinking alcohol - should male reporters 'respect' that Muslim crap too?

Westerners MUST STAND UP TO MUSLIMS. We have the right to draw cartoons - we have the right to worship as we please - we have the right to create and follow sane laws. Our women are not slaves.

If women reporters have to have two American men with them, so be it. Our press can't afford to be bullied by Muslims - not our men - not our women...

“I have little sympathy. She was running around over there in their culture with her head uncovered. That means she is a prostitute in the moslem world. Come home and do the weather channel. She should sue somebody for letting her go into the Tahrir square with 100% men, over heated by Sahria state possibilities. Who let her do that?”

I’ve written and erased 3 angry responses to this conflicted, callous post. But at least I won’t need banning now.

The attraction of the Leftist media to the Mudslimes is a common lust for innocent blood.

Where am I wrong? Should she have been there? Would you send a female employee with her head uncovered into that godless mob?

You're wrong because you don't give in to idiot rapists. The MSM can afford to protect their women reporters. They need to do that - they don't need to 'give in' to "muslim sensibilities'. We need to stand up to Muslims MORE, not less.

Your statement is perfectly clear and true. In the Moslem’s mind, a woman uncovered is a prostitute, especially if she is Western. Lara had to know that.
A good, close up view of those men, and the cold, inhuman look in their eyes is the scariest sight I have ever seen.

Why was this attractive woman, who's referred to often on reputable Internet pages as "sexpot", in the middle of an all male Muslim crowd? Why, she was there for you and me, all of us sitting comfortably onb our asses in front of our flat screen boob tubes, because...

Do they have a death wish or what?

No; they are simply idiots. And to the enemy; useful idiots at that.

Of couse, Logan is “the media,” as well. Would you have considered her part of “the enemy” last week, bfore this was actually reported in the media?

Let’s see how “the media” treats this. Already today there are reports that Logan wants to go back to work and discuss what happened to her. If it’s her story, then we will hear it coming from CBS News first.

Certainly, after all Logan has suffered, she deserves the exclusive to it.

I’m not taking Logan’s side here. I’m just commenting on the reaction of the rest of the US media.

Witnesses say the mainly peaceful protests to end Mubarak's rule had taken a more violent turn after the Egyptian president announced his resignation. The military presence controlling the amount of people entering Tahrir Square seemed to evaporate, and an angrier element had flowed in.

Oh, I see now, it was not the peace loving people that protested that did this, but new people coming out from under some rug.

There was a discussion a prior thread about the sexual assault and if it was rape. I posted this possibility:

"I haven’t read a time line yet, so it could well be that what happened was that the men beat her while forcefully grabbing her breasts, buttocks and vagina."

that is the EXACT manifesto of the stinking muslim fanactics ...that women are to blame for being attacked because its only NATURAL for men to attack and rape women..

jerks are coming out tonite....

I’m reminded of a saying “when in Rome ...”

I think most reporters by and large think a reporter ID card grants them immunity, and in a western civilized nation they would be right. I think most reporters also assume that all Muslims like them because the press in general gives Muslims favorable coverage, certainly the US press does. Of course, the reporters are wrong on both counts.

So, it’s possible to sympathize with Logan, which I do, but also ask what was she thinking when she went there? It isn’t Main Street USA or a street in Baghdad patroled by US troops. From the Muslim point of view, she got what she derserved, and to make that observation doesn’t make anyone callous. If you agree with the Muslim point of view, that’s another matter.

If you make a trip to Rome, it’s best to understand Roman culture and “ ... do as the Romans do” or at the least not offend them. Hopefully, she will recover and others won’t make the same mistake.

I’m a grandmother. If you want to call me a jerk, that’s fine with me.
Women in this country do not appreciate how safe, protected, and respected they are compared to the rest of the world.
Most people in this country have never seen Moslem men in their natural setting. Calling them animals is an insult to animals. Look how they treat the women in their own families!
In the Middle East it is natural for men to rape women. It is not safe for any woman to be out and about and not protected!
Why do you not climb into a snake pit and take a nap? Because it’s dangerous, and you know that before you climb into the pit.
In the Middle East it is a man’s world, and any woman who does not want to be abused or killed soon understands that.
It’s a whole different world, with a totally different set of rules.
