Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Blasts 'Cancerous' Israel

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blasted "cancerous" Israel today, a day after its premier Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the planned passage of Iranian warships through the Suez Canal.

"The fake Zionist government is a cancerous tumor and the cause of different diseases and political, economic calamity in the region," the commander-in-chief of Iran told officials while marking the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammed which in the Shiite calender fell on Monday.

"The arrogance (Iran's standard term of abuse for the United States) is doing its best to preserve this war-mongering tumor, but today the hatred of regional nations towards this cancerous tumor is more evident," state television quoted him as saying.

Iran will not be free until the opposition realizes that Islam itself is the problem, and that tossing out the mullahs will not change anything long-term.

I have never ever heard an explanation of why the Iranians hate the Jews so much. I know some Iranians and they are completely obsessed with hate for the Jews and they can’t even explain why. Does anyone know?

Is there any culture in that part of the world that isn’t taught to hate someone?

Hmmm?!? This guy may have some salient points worth pondering. Maybe as a show of 'good faith' (no pun), Obama should offer up his daughters in marriage to some of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's relatives.

After all Obama and HIS State Department seems to agree with Khamenei - and every other Ayatollah under the sun - on most everything. And Barry's daughters are of 'marrying age'. Another plus is given Barry's upbringing in Katmandu, he knows how that whole Muslim arranged marriage thing works so the weddings would work out pretty well. All Obama needs to do is then come up with a Dowry for his daughters. Three Camels and a herd of Ninety Goats should be okay. And he could throw in the First Moocher as a bonus -- Moochie can be in charge of the goats.

And Barry and the Grooms parents can invite every Head of State to make nice-nice at the Receptions (and get even with that Queen for dissin' them with 'her' wedding). Like no random shootings during the Hokey Pokey and Chicken Dance. Or Suicide Bombers crashing in during, Boot Scootin' Boogie.

Yep. This would bring 'peace to the middle east' as now with Barry being 'part of the family', we'd make them be nice to Israel and those nutty Ayatollahs would stop calling the USA, 'The Great Satan' -- that really hurts my feelings (sniffle).

2. Under a Persian King in 6th Century BC, Persian Jews were allowed to return to Jerusalem and re-build the Temple of Solomon.
   
3. Aprox 1,200 years later Muhammad came along and 'invents' Islam.
   
4. In 651 AD Muslims conquered the Persian Empire.
   
5. Persian Muslims start hating the 'infidel Jews'.

So that's the basics.

As a rule, mainstream Iranians even in Iran, do Not hate the Jews. Jews have been part of Iran for centuries, long before the Arab-Moslem invasion of Iran in th 7th century AD. Many Iranian Jews only speak Persian, not Hebrew or Yiddish.

Apart from the hatred of Jews in Europe by many Europeans & for centuries, the ‘hatred of Jews’ in Iran can be fairly & squarely attributed to Islamic teachings in Iran, often emulating Mohammad’s own paranoia & hatred of the Jews. Even so, Moslems & Jews share much in common. Much more than Christians & Moslems.

Even pre-Islam, in Iran, during the rule of Seleucid (Greek Dynasty), an offshoot of Alexander’s adventures, which came into existence immediately after Alexander’s rule in Iran, only those Seleucid rulers of Iran badly treated the Jews in Iran.
