President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle have not been invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.
The Queen personally invited 40 heads of state, who received the gold-embossed invitations over the weekend to the April 29 wedding of the future king.
The Obamas, however, were not among them.
But they can take solace in the knowledge that they will be the guests of their very own state visit to the UK in May.
There have been suggestions that the state visit – the first for a US President since 2003 – was set up in return for Obama not coming to the wedding because of the added security costs involved with protecting the President.
French Prime Minister Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni will also miss out and Prince Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson – the Duchess of York – has also been snubbed.
Leaders from Commonwealth counties, including Australia, Canada and New Zealand have been invited along with Kings and Queens across Europe, including Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Greece.

The Royal House of England has spurned POTUS Obama and his anti-American wife, Michelle!!! Why? Obama hates America!!! Obama hates Jews and the Jewish state of Israel!!! Obama hates England because his drunken, drug laden, womanizer father, radical communist that he was, hated England because England brought civilization and effective administration to Kenya. England certainly has faults and so does the USA, but the English brought law, order and reason to Kenya, laying the ground for the independence that was to come. I am glad the Queen culled out the Obamas for what they really are, haters!!!

The cool thing is most of us feel proud of the Queen - how she has, with grace - snubbed the Obamas’ for their cheap gifts and general rudeness. She has standards - that’s a good thing.

Queen Elizabeth was doing Obama and Michelle a favor. It would take months of etiquette instruction to ensure that the Obamas would act appropriately and not embarrass themselves.
Imagine if Michelle, once again, put her arm around the queen and slapped her on her back.
