On a tip provided by a concerned American yesterday, information has been discovered indicating a widespread network of radical Islamist sleeper cells in the U.S. that have quietly blended in with communities so as not to arouse suspicion. Evidence indicates that the cells are lying in wait, possibly in order to receive a signal to embark on a simultaneous mission to murder hundreds of citizens.
Several pieces of information from several sources indicate a troublesome scenario.
First, counter-terrorism experts have noted for years that the nation's borders are so shockingly insecure that terrorists would have relatively little trouble gaining entrance into the country, even legally. But what is even more troubling is their cargo--nuclear material in small quantities, so small as to be undetected yet potent enough to make nuclear 'dirty bombs' that could be simultaneously detonated in a dozen U.S. cities. Reports from 2006 indicate the problem, and little has been done in the years since to close the gaping holes in the nation's security at entry points.

You are most correct near cities like San Diego, Laredo, but the thousands of open miles where the Coyotes know there are one or two agents for hundreds of miles, they still just drive or walk across, and its less expensive and dangerous than building and using the Tunnels.
This isn’t about letting some poor migrant better their life in America, its about dirty money and feeding ample supplies of Drugs to the Inner Cities where the Drugs and Profits are distributed easily with virtually no significant risk.
When the FBI finally tracks down the terrorists it will be revealed that the CIA knew about them, but were not authorized to notify anyone and did not want to seem biased toward Muslims. Any terrorists captured will be given civilian trials and will be acquitted of many charges or cut plea bargains.

Sure. But the extent of the danger depends on the type of radioactive material used in said dirty bomb.
If the radioactive material is emitting alpha particles, then a sheet of paper will protect you from contamination. Protection/prevention of ingesting or breathing in radioactive particles is paramount. So wearing clothes, gloves, goggles and a face mask (like one a painter uses) will suffice in an emergency. If you don’t have a face mask or goggles, sun glasses and a scarf over your nose and mouth can help prevent a lot of exposure, and don’t rub your eyes with anything!
My main concern is people would panic, flee the area, and spread the radioactive material, making clean-up very difficult.
Accurate information about what to expect if one of these devices is set off can help you. These are not nuclear devices caused by the fissioning or fusing of unstable elements where most victims are incinerated within a certain radius from ground zero.
“Dirty bombs” are conventional explosives packed with radioactive materials from varying sources, so that when the bomb explodes it spreads radioactive material all about. People need not die because of exposure.

I didn’t say anything about ME harming anyone.
What I meant should be obvious.
It’s a prediction of public reaction to such an attack from within.
After 9/11, despite a stable government with a strong president who responded quickly and heavily against the perpetrators, muslims in this country still suffered quite a bit of harassment, threats, and even some violence.
Ramp it up now with what is apparently an apathetic/sympathetic commander in chief with a populace which is already on the verge of “goin Egypt” on Washington, while the continued breakdown of the rule of law in this country is becoming more clear each day...
What the hell you think is gonna happen?

Simple as that ... get to know your next-door neighbors.
Invite the neighbors to dinner some night. Better yet, invite the folks two doors down as well. That’s all it takes to defuse this problem.
With one simple dinner, nothing fancy, you can find out if your neighbors are flag-waving patriots, weird but cool, weird but uncool, or hostile enemies.
Isn’t that worth a pot roast and a few potatoes and carrots?
The plus point is: there are lots more motivated and armed citizens who will be righteous.
